"I grew up in the '50s when everyone was in love with pearls. They were functional, simple, and classic to the point of boredom. When using pearls for this collection, I wanted to reinvent them as a fashion-forward, playful accessory that wasn't so serious, yet was still sweet and versatile. I added an extra punch of drama and sparkle by placing dove gemstone enhancers off-center along the collar of the necklace and the clasp of the bracelet. The dove is a classic symbol of hope and freedom — very rock-inspired. Great accessory for open-shoulder dresses, and not-so-shockingly, a good old-fashioned sweater set."
