QVC NAMES DAVE CAPUTO
VICE PRESIDENT OF CONTENT PRODUCTION
West Chester, Pa. (October 6, 2009) – QVC recently announced the promotion of Dave Caputo from director to vice president of content production. In his new role, Caputo will continue to plan, direct and manage the development of all video content for QVC. He will also continue to oversee the company’s remote productions team, which travels across the globe to deliver the QVC customer unique, entertaining and engaging viewership experiences.
Among Caputo’s many accomplishments at QVC, he helped build and evolve the company’s remote production operations. For the past 14 years, QVC has taken its show on the road to amazing places around the world to deliver its customers access to otherwise exclusive events, including Fashion Week in New York City and the 56th Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C.
“Dave is a strong, credible and savvy leader. He continually strives to improve the organization and its impact on our business and customers,” said Angie Simmons, QVC’s executive vice president of multichannel platforms, to whom Caputo reports. “His leadership will be instrumental as we identify additional markets and new concepts to expand our programming presence.”
Caputo joined QVC in 1992 and has since held positions of increasing responsibility within the company’s Broadcasting Operations function, including director of studio and remote operations.
Caputo earned his bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University, Kutztown, Pa.
