ROSETTA GYIMESI JOINS QVC AS
VICE PRESIDENT OF APPLICATION SERVICES

West Chester, Pa. (April 21, 2009) – QVC announced today that Rosetta Gyimesi has recently joined the company as vice president of application services. In this role, Gyimesi is responsible for information technology (IT) quality assurance and migration strategies, enterprise application services and software development for various areas.

“Rosetta brings a special combination of business knowledge, technical experience and leadership skills that fit comfortably with QVC's culture and values,” said John Sullivan, QVC’s executive vice president and chief information officer, to whom Gyimesi will report. “She will play an instrumental role in leveraging our technologies to sustain growth and productivity at QVC.”

Bringing more than 20 years of IT experience, Gyimesi previously served as vice president and senior information officer at American International Group, Inc., where she led a team of professionals engaged in the development of sophisticated operational systems for the financial services industry.

Prior to American International Group, Inc., Gyimesi spent 10 years at Liz Claiborne, Inc. While at Liz Claiborne, she held various positions of increasing experience, including her role as senior director of application development, in which she directed the development and support of global corporate proprietary and vendor best-of-breed systems for the company.

Rosetta earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and computer science from Kean University, Union, N.J.  She also has a master’s degree in business administration from Seton Hall University, South Orange, N.J.
