JOHN KELLY RETURNS TO QVC AS
VICE PRESIDENT OF HOME MERCHANDISING

West Chester, Pa. (April 15, 2009) – QVC announced today that John Kelly has recently returned to the company as vice president of home merchandising. In this role, Kelly manages the company’s home merchandising categories, which include electronics, wellness, cooking and dining.

“John brings strong credentials in strategic planning and implementation of sales and marketing plans for home and technology products,” said Doug Howe, QVC’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, to whom Kelly will report. “His unique blend of traditional merchandising and Internet experience will play an instrumental role in growing various merchandising categories at QVC.”

Bringing more than 20 years of merchandising experience to QVC, Kelly previously served as chief merchandising officer for Circuit City. In this role, he was responsible for all strategies and relationships for the corporation’s merchandising segment. Additionally, he oversaw multichannel development, as well as the transformation to new retail store concepts and new customer interface strategy.

Prior to Circuit City, Kelly served as vice president of home innovations for QVC. Among his many accomplishments with the company, Kelly was responsible for leading his teams toward growth in the categories of consumer electronics, home improvement, home style and home innovations, as well as for creating promotions that maximized top-line revenue and profits.

Kelly’s professional background also includes leadership positions with Sharp Electronics Corp., where he was responsible for all sales, marketing and product planning for the company’s consumer electronics division.     He also served at R.H. Macy Co. Inc., where he managed merchandising for the electronics division of 89 of the company’s stores.

Kelly earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J.
