Dan Hughes joined QVC as a program host in 1989. In this position, he presents product information, conducts demonstrations, and interacts with on–air guests, celebrities, and viewers.
Dan is known to QVC viewers for co–hosting The QVC Morning Show with Pat James–DeMentri. He also hosts QVC's regular race car program, For Race Fans Only®.
Prior to joining QVC, Dan was a stand–up comedian and traveled the comedy circuit from Indianapolis to San Francisco. He also worked for ITT Corporation as a motivational speaker, mainly addressing students and encouraging them to continue their education.
Raised in Indianapolis, IN, Dan has a natural interest in car racing and its stars. In his free time he enjoys reading more than 20 magazines and trade publications each week, including many on his favorite topic — motor sports.
