philosophy miracle worker overnight moisturizer 2 oz.
This cream goes on smoothly and does what it is supposed to do. It softens and works to remove dead skin so it will exfoliate and thus if rubbed "pills" of skin roll off. I don't rub it and it soaks in. The next morning when I wash my face and use my sonic skin tool my skin feels marvelous. The big news? This has helped immensely with my neck!!!! I'm 60 and have trouble in that area so I am extremely pleased.
Not One Of Philosophy's Better Products !
I have used Philosophy products for many years ... and love them. However, this cream is the worst I have ever used on my face! It is greasy and does absolutely nothing for my skin. When I touched my face about fifteen minutes after applying... it "pilled" off . I had to wash it off because I couldn't stand the feeling on my skin. Ugh !! Nasty ! I would not recommend this product for anyone.... don't waste your money.
not for me
Purchased in a kit. This PM cream was very greasy and after it sat for a few minutes and I rubbed ny hands on my face too feel results it just pilled up and I didn't even use very much. I'm 52 with good skin. In morning my skin felt greasy and irritated and I don't have sensitive skin. The AM cream was just ok took a while to absorb into skin which made it not ideal for getting ready I. Morning quickly. Philosophy why are you putting sodium hydroxide in your products. Should have read the ingredients first. My bad. Returning tomorrow as this is not good.
I LOVE THIS CREAM!
I recently received the Miracle Worker TSV that was presented last Saturday from Philosophy. I have always wanted to try the Miracle Worker Overnight Cream. Last night, after I cleansed with my Purity Made Simple, I applied the night cream. It felt like satin on my skin, and it was lightweight. I did not experience any pilling like many customers have complained about, and there was hardly a smell. I am 39 years old with normal/combination skin (oily T-zone), and it did not make my face greasy or oily. It is not heavy and it absorbs well into the skin. I woke up with soft, glowing skin. I am not sure what all of the complaints are about, but for me, this is a dream cream, and the texture feels like a cream/gel satiny consistency. I also have and use the Hope in a Jar night cream, which I also love. Philosophy products work for me, and I will not spend money on other skin care lines that do not work or are too fragrant like Lancome or Estee Lauder.
I really wanted to like this product since I'm looking for something comparable to Perricone, without the price tag. Unfortunately, this was not it. I tried it for more than a month to give it a chance to work, but after a month there was no noticeable difference in my wrinkles (of which I have few), or the firmness in my skin. My skin also felt greasy in the morning, so I felt this wasn't absorbing well.
This made my face break out real bad. It's sticky. Not good.
It's expensive, but it lasted me about 5 months, even though I used it every night. I answered no to whether or not to recommend as a gift because NEVER give a woman a gift like this.
MY TAKE ON THE MIRACLE WORKER OVERNIGHT...
...Purchased in a philosophy product kit I was anxious to try the Miracle Worker Overnight... as I had found great happenings with the Miracle Worker Daytime... I actually used the latter at night as well. 'My Take' is that the Miracle Worker line is an amazing step(s) up for my AGED (good condition) derma. The overnight works instantly upon application... I can feel it smooth and firm... during the night it exfoliates, softens, hydrates, and I immediately see my aged skin improve. I have used many products of top brands over these years, fair ones, good ones, great ones, super result ones, and the Miracle Worker overnight (and daytime) are in the bracket of 'super results'. This marvel is working for me; skin care is definitely and definitively personal... that is -- what some need under the consistent and constant wording by vendors of 'aging' means a lot more than many take the words for in the teens, twenties, and upward. However, in the senior category is where AGED it is at and so is Miracle Worker... that is by senior I see it as 60, 65 and upward! Some reviewers mention the 'flakes' on their skin... that means the MW overnight IS WORKING, DOING WHAT IT IS INTENDED FOR... ITS PURPOSE... EXFOLIATING GENTLY DURING THE NIGHT..... I LOVE THE WAY IT FEELS GOING ON AND THE FEEL OF MY DERMA TO THE TOUCH THEREAFTER... AND THERE IS DEFINITELY NO ODOR.... I ALSO DON'T CLASSIFY THIS PRODUCT AS 'MUCHO DOLLARS' - IT GOES A LONG WAY IN THE AMOUNT CATEGORY, plus IT WORKS! I like what the 63 year age woman stated: "I am using the entire Miracle Worker line. ...added this one to... using nightly.' At 72 years young I vote for seeing more seniors submit reviews for 'aged' vs. 'aging'... and a 64 young woman states: '...the best cream I have ever tried by far! Makes your skin feel like baby skin and your pores are so refined!' I am looking forward to supersizing of the overnight... if not done already as I may have missed it in the product line. I also add that my derma's elasticity, bounce, souping up loss of moisture, and holding forehead wrinkles, et al. in check -- which I have almost zero of... the term of 'beauty sleep' is not for nought... it means what it indicates... miracles work during sleep! P.S. Because I do 80% plus of my facial and neck regimen at night... at times I combine a mite of Miracle Worker day with the night... Magic, dear philosophy... thank you.
This was not a "miracle" for me.
I have been using this product every night for 4 months and my skin feels very dry in the morning. Also I don't see any difference in lines or wrinkles. This is my first Philosophy product...and my last. Not worth the money in my opinion.
starting using moisturizer a few nights ago my skin is so soft wrinkles are fading away around lips my face looks and feels great love it this is the BEST
Not a fan
I didn't notice a significant improvement of my skin. It goes on silky, but dries and flakes off of the skin which is not appealing. I didn't notice a foul odor. Not worth the price.
Developed a funky smell
For the first two months I used this every night. It left my skin very smooth and soft. Then it started to smell like laundry that had been left in the washer for a week. YUCK. Used it up on my feet--did a great job exfoliating dead skin on my heels. Won't buy this again.
