Description
What is it: philosophy's overnight anti-wrinkle moisturizer designed to help visibly improve the look of your skin.

Who is it for: Anyone concerned with loss of moisture, the look of forehead wrinkles, and other visible signs of aging; and anyone who wants a treatment that will work hard against the signs of aging while you get your beauty sleep.

Why is it different: Your skin is in a different environment during the day than it is at night. Nighttime can become your prime time with the miracle worker overnight anti-wrinkle moisturizer. It works at nighttime to help improve the look of aging skin.

Key ingredients for your nighttime rejuvenation include a marine algae extract, a unique milk peptide complex, hydrators to lock in moisture while you sleep, and vitamin C and lactic acid (ascorbic acid), which enhance skin radiance for miraculous mornings.

The miracles are in the proof! In a consumer perception study, in just one night, the majority of subjects said that they felt silky soft, hydrated, and renewed skin. In a 12-week consumer perception study, the majority of subjects reported that they looked like they were getting enough sleep every night. In a 12-week clinical study, investigators saw improvements in forehead wrinkles, elasticity, firmness, radiance, and visual and tactile smoothness. In a clinical study, expert graders reported an improvement in skin elasticity in 90% of subjects in four weeks and an improvement in tactile smoothness in 96% of subjects in 12 weeks.

How do I use it: Apply after cleansing and treatment as a nighttime moisturizer.

From philosophy.

hope vs. miracle worker
mari lyn

philosophy's mari lyn answers your frequently asked questions about hope and miracle worker.

q: what's the difference between the hope and miracle worker lines?

a: our hope products are treatment-based moisturizers and provide the foundation for healthy skin. not only do they provide excellent moisturization, they also address some of the most common skin concerns such as fine lines, uneven skin tone, and rough texture. rich in antioxidants and other active ingredients, they're aimed at helping to prevent and reduce the first signs of aging. miracle worker addresses multiple aggressive signs of aging: lines that are more noticeable and turning into wrinkles, dullness that's more evident, and skin that's increasingly challenging to hydrate.

q: how do i know when it's time to start using miracle worker?

a: if you are concerned about the signs of aging, it's time. if you have advanced anti-aging needs, it's definitely time. again, you'll know if lines are more noticeable and turning into wrinkles, dullness is more evident, discoloration and loss of elasticity are concerns, and retaining moisture is increasingly challenging.

q: can i use both hope and miracle worker products?

a: sure you can. some customers want something a little more lightweight during the day and like to use hope in a jar or when hope is not enough facial firming serum under makeup. then, at night, incorporate the miracle worker concentrate and moisturizer (with the retinoid pads, of course).

q: which miracle worker product should i start using first?

a: if you had to choose only one product from the miracle worker collection, start with the retinoid pads. clinical studies show that noticeable results can be seen within one week of use. then, incorporate the moisturizer, followed by the concentrate and antioxidant pads.

q: what's your skin care routine?

a: below is what i'm currently using, and i love the results! my skin continues to improve beyond expectations.

morning

  • the microdelivery exfoliating wash — it gently but deeply cleanses as it exfoliates
  • miracle worker miraculous anti-aging antioxidant pads
  • miracle worker miraculous anti-aging retinoid eye cream
  • miracle worker miraculous anti-aging concentrate
  • miracle worker spf 55 miraculous anti-aging fluid

evening

  • purity made simple one-step facial cleanser, with my Clarisonic!
  • miracle worker miraculous anti-aging retinoid pads
  • miracle worker miraculous anti-aging retinoid eye cream
  • miracle worker miraculous anti-aging moisturizer

weekly

  • the microdelivery peel at least once a week — i love how it makes my skin immediately feel incredibly soft with a healthy-looking glow
  • hope springs eternal deep sea revitalizing mask — once a week or every other week

Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible! why don't they have 0 stars This smells like crude oil, petroleum, and as thick. My nose and eyes stung. There are no anti-aging ingredients until the middle of the ingredient deck (and not many or in their strongest form at that) and those are ineffective due to the silicones, emulsifiers (all they do is make it feel good going on and help mix the fillers- nothing anti-aging) The "exfoliation" people are saying is not pilling, is in fact pilling which results from the inexpensive ingredient fillers and they'll pill up on skin, paper, stainless steel, anything because they have those fillers. It's not exfoliation. If you don't believe this exfoliate your skin a few times, then try this. the day time cream isn't better. With both of these you might think your skin is better because of the skin conditioners ( fillers) but there aren't any true ingredients which help build your own collagen and elastin, decrease telomere death, use effective plant stem cells-not extracts of, or plants that aren't the quality needed. I use to love Philosophy, but since Coty bought them, quality throughout the line has dropped. Bath products-scents don't last and have a plastic smell, fragrances smell like alcohol and then shortly lose the scent (sometimes it's good that happens)- skincare- loss of better quality and true long term results, and fluff ingredients like fillers, silicones, emulsifiers, etc. nothing attempting quality ingredients don't show up until further down the ingredient deck making them ineffective. 05-05-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best facial product I have ever used in my life Like many women I have tried just about every product on the market but this is the best product ever. After 1 week, my face glows and has a dewy complexion. I am 55 and have been told I look 40. The "peeling" is actually dead layers of skin that roll off my face leaving behind firmer, hydrated, even toned skin with a beautiful glow . I don't understand why others find the smell offensive because truthfully there isn't a smell/perfume which is better for your skin. It's the only product I've used that delivers results. My skin feels like a newborn baby's skin! Everyone asks me what I am doing differently. I don't even have to wear foundation. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this line of skin care. Enough said! I've tried Dr. Denise but didn't see any results that lasted more than 24 hours. 03-18-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by making a difference I have been using this after straying to another product line (Dr. Denese - I think I am allergic to her products) to get my skin back to normal and I can say after 2 weeks that my skin is finally coming around. I have been struggling for the last 3 months with a menopausal acne outbreak of near epic proportions , so I went to QVC to get the Pro-Activ system and while that did work for the most part, (it left my skin wickedly dry - the huge cyst on my right cheek finally burst yesterday full of blood and pus - yuk!!!) I am very scarred now. I am back on Philosophy and will never leave again. The moisture is very needed, I apply 2 coats of nighttime cream and in the morning I apply 2 coats of the daytime moisturizer - my skin is just that dry from the Pro-Activ, but it is softening up now, after 2 weeks use. I won't stray again..... 02-23-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Winner I think this is the very best moisturizer that Philosophy has done. It has no scent, my dry 60 year old face drinks it in, non greasy, it is just the best. Philosophy has a miracle worker in this product, and I also like the Miracle Worker moisturizer for day. Super products. Thank you Philosophy. 12-20-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! This cream goes on smoothly and does what it is supposed to do. It softens and works to remove dead skin so it will exfoliate and thus if rubbed "pills" of skin roll off. I don't rub it and it soaks in. The next morning when I wash my face and use my sonic skin tool my skin feels marvelous. The big news? This has helped immensely with my neck!!!! I'm 60 and have trouble in that area so I am extremely pleased. 11-29-14
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not One Of Philosophy's Better Products ! I have used Philosophy products for many years ... and love them. However, this cream is the worst I have ever used on my face! It is greasy and does absolutely nothing for my skin. When I touched my face about fifteen minutes after applying... it "pilled" off . I had to wash it off because I couldn't stand the feeling on my skin. Ugh !! Nasty ! I would not recommend this product for anyone.... don't waste your money. 10-12-14
Rated 1 out of 5 by not for me Purchased in a kit. This PM cream was very greasy and after it sat for a few minutes and I rubbed ny hands on my face too feel results it just pilled up and I didn't even use very much. I'm 52 with good skin. In morning my skin felt greasy and irritated and I don't have sensitive skin. The AM cream was just ok took a while to absorb into skin which made it not ideal for getting ready I. Morning quickly. Philosophy why are you putting sodium hydroxide in your products. Should have read the ingredients first. My bad. Returning tomorrow as this is not good. 09-25-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by I LOVE THIS CREAM! I recently received the Miracle Worker TSV that was presented last Saturday from Philosophy. I have always wanted to try the Miracle Worker Overnight Cream. Last night, after I cleansed with my Purity Made Simple, I applied the night cream. It felt like satin on my skin, and it was lightweight. I did not experience any pilling like many customers have complained about, and there was hardly a smell. I am 39 years old with normal/combination skin (oily T-zone), and it did not make my face greasy or oily. It is not heavy and it absorbs well into the skin. I woke up with soft, glowing skin. I am not sure what all of the complaints are about, but for me, this is a dream cream, and the texture feels like a cream/gel satiny consistency. I also have and use the Hope in a Jar night cream, which I also love. Philosophy products work for me, and I will not spend money on other skin care lines that do not work or are too fragrant like Lancome or Estee Lauder. 09-11-14
