Hope--delivered. As part of this Auto-Delivery program, a new jar of this incredible moisturizer arrives at your door approximately every 90 days for as long as you are enrolled in the plan.

What is it: philosophy's world-famous moisturizer. This antioxidant-rich formula helps improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, revealing smoother, healthier-looking skin.

Who is it for: Anyone looking for a lightweight and non-greasy moisturizer.

Why is it different: Where there is hope there can be faith, where there is faith miracles can occur. This lightweight moisturizer starts your skin off right with a perfect drink of water, not a cup of oil. The extra-light moisturizing formula features lactic acid, a water-loving alpha hydroxyl acid that provides gentle exfoliation and helps promote smooth healthy skin. Also contains beta-glucan to give skin a healthy rosy glow.

How do I use it: Apply to a clean, dry face. Avoid the eye area.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stinky Smells like a sour wet rag. Unable to use, had to wash my face and hands. Yuck.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not a great product I do not like this product. It is watered down and I don't like the feel of it on my face. I do not recommend this product at all!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stinks I just started using this tonight. I thought it was supposed to be unscented but it does have a fragrance and it stinks. Don't know if it will help my skin but the scent is so unappealing that I can't use it anywhere near my nose. Most likely will end up using on my feet just to keep from throwing it out and completely wasting my money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Mistake this for "Renewed Hope!" I accidently purchased this thinking I was getting "Renewed Hope in a Jar" - which I absolutely love! This product smells AWFUL! Someone else said "a wet dog and egg whites" LOL - that's perfect! Used once - had to wash it off after about 15 minutes because I could still smell it on my face and hands. Returned and immediately order the "Renewed"!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My only moisturizer The best moisturizer that I have used for many years. I am in my 60's with rather dry skin, and this product keeps my skin isoft and smooth without being greasy. I have recommended Hope in a jar many times

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I've used this for years and it seems the formula and scent changed. Awful smell and not as moisturizing. I don't recognize the product. Won't buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love but is now too pricey Love, love this. I am 73 and have sensitive skin. Only product I have found that does not cause a problem. What a shame that it has become so very expensive that I can no longer afford it. Makes me wonder how many other ladies are experiencing the same problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This isn't the Hope in a Jar I used to love I bought this because I was looking for a moisturizer that wouldn't cause an allergic reaction on my sensitive skin. I used his product for years but after getting older I needed more moisture. I had intended to try using Moroccan Oil with this moisturizer to calm my skin down after using products that created issues with it. When I brought it home, I was horrified after opening it. The product had a yellow color and was separated with liquid on top of cream. I stirred it but even then it smelled like urine to me. Since I'd never had this kind of experience with Philosophy I called them to report it. They asked me to send it back to them for testing. They replaced it but the 2nd jar smells bad too. This is not the product I used on my face for years. I don't know if it works well because it's so revolting to me I won't use it. Sephora has a new moisture cream in their own brand that is wonderful. It comes in light or intensive moisture. In addition to that it's priced far better than Hope in a Jar. I do mix Josie Maran's Moroccan Oil in it and for me it's just the perfect solution. I'm 62 years old and have very dry, sensitive skin but it looks better now than it's looked for a long time. So sorry I can't recommend this product anymore.
