I like the mascara and the eye shadow is ok. the lip colors are much darker than they looked on tv and too matte and flat for me. A little shine would be better. The highlight cream just does not work for me. Even at the sale price this was not a bargain for me. Will keep it rather than pay to return. Was disappointed in the whole thing actually....sorry

Teen Love's this set!!
My 15 y/o daughter absolutely love's this kit. She is a beautiful girl, blessed with great skin. Her skin tone is olive, hazel eyes, and thick long wavy/curly gorgeous hair!! She is addicted to makeup, and this kit is a BIG WINNER with her. The shadows apply smoothly, and feel silky. This is the first time trying this line(makeup) and will not be the last. Thank you for great price, and we love philosophy facial cleansing line!!

Great combo
I bought this on clearance just prior to a cruise figuring it would make packing easier and lighter. Well it DID! I used the gloss for a blusher and voila! Elegant night pictures were wonderful! Colors are great!

I LOVE THIS MAKEUP KIT!!!!!
This makeup kit is fabulous. The colors are "real" colors I can actually use. I wish I could get one for my Mom! The eye shadows look pale in the kit but go on richer and somewhat darker when placed on the skin. There is a shade for highlighting, one for on the lid, and a darker color for lining the eyes or creating shadows. I'm thinking about using the purplish color to create a REALLY dramatic eye. The gold luminizer inspired me to do something I've never done before - highlight my cheekbones, nose, and temples where light from above would fall. The luminizer creeated a very subtle kind of light, a vaguely noticeable sheen and glow. The lip glosses are wonderful, too - a warm color and a lovely neutral kind of pink/red. I'm SO GLAD I bought this kit. I have a lot of makeup that I never use, but thes colors in this kit are so natural that it's now the only makeup I'm using. AND it fits in my purse!! You will love this kit - it's quality makeup at an affordable price. Well worth the money!!

Flattering and a steal!
I got this palate for myslelf and my mom and we both LOVE it!!! Forget the price for a moment. Everything in this palate is amazing! The shadows and glosses are now my go to! The shadows look so natural and are so blendable. The brush makes it go on perfectly and I can use the other side of the brush to line the eye with the darker colors. It's mistake proof. It makes my eyes look brighter and deeper in color. My eyes are green and these are flattering shades. My mom has brown eyes and she loves them too. I love the lip glosses. Although they are glosses they are quite matte which works great for me. Both colors on their own or mixed are very neutral and flattering. They are not sticky. They are my favorite lip glosses. I am not sure I like the luminizer. It makes me look shiny, but who cares! At this price to have gorgeous full size shadows, glosses and a mascara you can not lose! It's also wonderful for travel. The only con for me is that it is hard to open. I have to pry it with my fingernails.

just not for me
This might be a great purchase for many QVC customers, but not for me. I wasn't thrilled with the lip glosses, mascara, and luminizer (I prefer less sticky glosses and luminizers). However, I remain a diehard philosophy fan and will continue to purchase their products.
