Q&A with Paula Deen
Q: What inspired you to create your popular line of cookware for QVC?
A: Creating a cookware line just made sense to me and my team. I'm inspired by just about everything in the home - from the kitchen to the bedroom. Our cookware is beautiful, high quality, and a good value.
Q: You're renowned for your Southern hospitality. What are some of your favorite entertaining tips?
A: Keep it simple, make it easy, and enjoy your guests. Whenever possible, prepare ahead of time. And never hesitate to invite your friends into the kitchen to help. It's all part of the bonding process!
Q: We carry some delicious Paula Deen favorites here at QVC that are tailor-made for an Easter feast - Smithfield hams, gooey cakes, and pecan pie, to name a few. Are you hosting this year? What's on your holiday menu?
A: I'm always hosting the holidays. We do all the classic Easter traditions from coloring eggs to Easter egg hunting. I'll be baking a ham with all my fixins.
Q: Now that spring is here, everyone's looking to lighten up their cooking for the new season. What are some of your favorite dishes for spring?
A: Once the warm weather comes around, Michael and I like to grill our meals. It can be anything from burgers and hot dogs to finger-lickin' ribs, which are a favorite in the Deen-Groover household.
