Designer Margaret Thurman and her team of dreamers create inspiring jewelry collections season after season. As a teen, Margaret studied fine art with renowned artist, Nicholai Abracheff. She broke onto the New York art scene by creating experimental films that were presented to the likes of Andy Warhol at the esteemed Jonas Mekas Filmmaker's Cinematheque.
Inspired by a passion for exquisite stones as well as her colorful past, Margaret began selling her jewelry on the streets of New York. In 1993, she launched Echo of the Dreamer with daughter Myoshin, an accomplished artist in her own right.
The Echo of the Dreamer showroom, located in the heart of Manhattan's garment district, is a spacious loft decorated much like a home. Towering plants, Eastern statuary, and a balcony with a view of the Empire State Building define the creative space where these handmade jewelry designs originate.
Celebrate nature and the joys of life with Margaret Thurman's Echo of the Dreamer jewelry collection. Inspired by her artistic journey, passion for exquisite stones, and the cultures of the world, these unique creations are adorned with stunning gemstones set in sterling silver or bronze.
