Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I'm disappointed because this unit doesn't like the area rug. When it gets to the rug, it hesitates, turns, and heads in a different direction most of the time. On two occasions that I let it run continuously, it did not clean the entire area rug. On every occasion, it will balk when it touches the rug and turns. On every occasion, it does not return to home port. On every occasion it stops, and I have to reach down and touch the "clean" button again twice before it moves again. I was wondering my unit was a lemon, but I emailed Roomba company a week ago with questions and did not hear back, so I'm wondering about the company too. I will be sending this back to QVC until QVC or Roomba works out these kinks. Definitely not worth $500.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A happy wife is a happy life We purchased a Roomba 850 a couple of months ago and my wife could not be happier. She works long hours and would lament about vacuuming. My sons and I would try to help out, but we are all busy and it didn't always happen. Now with the Roomba, everyday when my wife comes home she sees the vacuum marks across the carpet and knows Rosie (named after the robot in the Jetsons) has done her job. The cleaning is superb including all the dog and cat hair. We still have our Dyson for the steps and when we need a quick clean up, but you cannot beat the Roomba. The WiFi and spot cleaning just make it all the better. My only regret is not having two, but the second will be coming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase of the year I should have bought it before. I turn on my Roomba every day and every day it takes out a huge amount of dog's hair from the floor. I did not realize that my house could be so dirty and I never saw all that hair on the floor. I recommend it to all pet's owner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roomba 890 does a great job! MyHazel,does a great job sweeping the floor. We have a German shepherd that sheds a lot and the 890 takes care of that, It does drive our dogs batty and the they bark and follow it around, Hopefully they get used to it after awhile. Would recommend the 890 Roomba!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from First time buyer, not fully impressed I just bought the 890 today and for the past 3 hours have been trying to connect it to Wi-Fi. The instructions are fairly easy to follow but it is not connecting. Step one is connect to your Wi-Fi and later on you have to connect to the Roomba. This is the part where it gets stuck and on my phone the 'starting network setup' screen appears but nothing else happens for a long time. Eventually I get a message that it lost connection. Not user friendly and no troubleshooting instructions!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Gift for My Mom My mom is 81 years old, very active, but I don't want her to assert so much energy into; sweeping and vacuuming. I bought this for her, to take some of the work out of her day. She has worked so hard; she deserves something that will give her that. I did a lot of research and chose this iRobot. She absolutely loves it; couldn't believe how well it cleans; she is a very picky woman. I am so happy she loves her iRobot; and that we can program it for her. Thank you so very much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful addition We call her Rosie, and we wish we would have bought her sooner. We have 3 indoor Labradors who as you know, shed continuously. Rosie cannot get under my sofas, but, we just vacuum under them each week. The first few days Rosie had trouble keeping up with the hair, but now that she has been running everyday since August, the floors are dust bunny free and she only needs to be emptied after her run. Rosie works everyday for about 60 minutes in our 1700 sq ft home. We only have tile, and a area rug in our living room and she works perfectly over these. Highly recommend.
