Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this robot mop I bought this product 5/6/16. It has been malfunctioning (mops a little and then dies) over the course of the past month. Today it was ascertained officially dead, I did everything I was asked by iRobot technical support to troubleshoot my Braava, so after all that was done with they had me call them. $50 is what they are going to charge me to replace the battery, which is the ending to the story of my Braava Mop. I asked how long the battery was supposed to last, and the woman I spoke to at iRobot told me much longer, but sometimes with frequent use the battery dies sooner. All I know is every time I have used it (maybe 1-2 times a week) it has gone right back on the charger until the next use. My home is maybe 500 square feet of mopping space (I never used it to "sweep", I have a Neato vacuum that works wonders before I use the Braava), at no point has it been "abused", and I keep it on its cradle in a room with no traffic between uses. I'm not even 100% sure it's the battery, what happens if it does the same thing upon battery replacement for $50? I'm thinking that's the part where I call and iRobot support tells me I have to buy some other part. Do not buy this unless you plan to put an additional $50+ into it on a yearly basis. There is a reason why the warranty is only a year: It doesn't hold up much longer than that timespan and then iRobot can cash in some more on their rubbish products. I'm really bummed, I loved it while it worked properly. I wrote a stellar review back when it worked well that I have flagged for them to take down.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked pretty good for a few months, but now it seldom works It will work sometimes, but more often than not, it doesn't. It starts, but it quits when it bumps into a corner or something. I've done all the book suggests

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING!!! We live on a farm and we also live with 2 shedding dogs. Our house is all hard floors. We let our roomba run once a day, then once or twice a week we will us the sweep function followed by a mop function on our Braava. Before we got the Roomba and Braava we didn't dare walk barefoot in our house because our floors were so grimmy. Now we can! Both of these machines keep our floor debris free. I'm not going to say the braava is better than a manually cleaning your floor, but if you don't have time to clean your floors regularly, the roomba & braava do a great job.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expensive for minimum usage I would not recommend this Brava mop. I have tile floors and vinyl floors. I also have two Brava mops. I have to stand over the Brava mops and keep pushing the sweep or the wet button for either of them to work. I highly recommend the Roomba! I have two Roombas! Love Roomba! Hate the lazy Brava mops!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Easily the worst purchase I've ever made This is the second iRobot product I purchased. Having been extremely satisfied by my Roomba I decided to give Braava a go, hoping it would feature the same quality as its cousin - hoo boy, was I wrong. I honestly think my eight-year-old is a better coder than whoever designed the movement algorithms on this thing. I have seen it just give up and declare itself lost IN THE MIDDLE OF AN EMPTY ROOM. It routinely gets stuck under things like couches, refrigerators - and I don't actually mean "stuck", mind you, I mean it cannot move forward or laterally and is TOO STUPID TO TRY STRAIGHT BACK. I wish I could "set it and forget it" every evening like my reliable Roomba, but this thing requires constant supervision wherein 99 times out of 100 I just turn it off out of impotent frustration and just mop myself. I'm not sure what type of home this sad toy is designed for, but whoever they are I'm sure they live a pretty minimalist existence in a large empty space with lots of time to mop, because Braava fails utterly at literally everything else.
