Excellent Purchase
I needed two alarm clocks to get me up - one had to be across the room so I wouldn't turn it off in my sleep. The shaker on this is so annoying it even wakes me up. That it charges my iPhone is a plus. Bought one for each of my nieces and they love it too.

Great buy for the money
....finally decided to purchase after looking at it for several months...Loved the fact that it was vertical standing as it takes up less room on the night stand. I was a bit skeptical about the pillow shaker but find that I prefer the vibration to the buzzing alarm or jarring music Very easy to set up. added bonus they provide you with the back up battery. Charges the Ipod Nano anTouch. Thinking it would make perfect Xmas gift for my preteen neice and nephews .

Made the purchase for my son, who both was frustrated with his alarm not going off, and I having to give him my iPhone charger nightly. Both problems solved:)

This is really cool
I bought this and am really happy with it. I got the white. It has good sound, it is easy to use. the only thing i would change is the clips that go in the top to stabilize the phone when it is charging. they aren't a bad idea just i keep a cover on my phone and it makes it too large for the clips. other than that, great. I got one for my son in law for his birthday in black. I hope he likes it.

Geat buy
I much rather wake up to music as opposed to that annoying buzz of most alarm clocks. Most of the radio stations I listten to do not get great reception, but it was a good buy. The sound is great though. The lights can be pretty bright, but it can be turned off.

Another good purchase !!
I have three grandchildren that have either i phones or i pods and this made a perfect Christmas gift for each one of them. I purchased a total of four of this item because my son-in-law wanted one after he saw the gandkids. it has a great sound and the pillow shaker is a pretty cool feature also. A good product and money well spent .

Great value for an iHome product
I already have iHome IP40, before purchasing this item. This is an iHome IP44. The only differance is that the IP44 has a pillow shaker. I use it for my iPhone 4, I just have to remove the bottom part of the phone cover to dock. It charges quickly. The sound quality of the speaker is great, I play podcast and music loudly from my phone. The pillow shaker is not very strong. The alarm is fairly loud. The LED lights are very bright, I prefer to use the clock light only. The battery back-up woke me up during a recent power outage. It also works with my old iPod nano 3. I paid 80 dollars for the IP40. This is a WONDERFUL VALUE!

Good basic clock & dock
I purchased the white model to dock my iPhone 3G and to use the alarm with pillow shaker as I have a terrible time waking up in the morning. It's cute and doesn't take up much space. The lights can be bright depending on the setting, but I keep them turned off. I worried that because it's so tall when my phone is docked and I am clumsy that I would knock it over. Fortunately, that has happened only once in the almost three months I've had it.
As for my phone, it fits perfectly and charges completely by morning. It's true that you can't dock a phone with a case on this clock with an insert in place, and the instructions say "Never dock an iPhone or iPod without an insert in place." BUT I keep my phone in a hard case that is difficult to remove, so I totally ignore that warning and dock my cased phone (carefully) without an insert, and it's done fine.
The clock is fairly easy to program. The alarm is loud enough but not annoying. A nice plus is that you can adjust your "Snooze" time. The pillow shaker doesn't really shake, it vibrates - imagine a phone with extra-strong vibrate under your pillow. The radio works fine, good reception. And the speakers improve the sound of the music on my phone - not super-stereo, but a definite improvement.

Not bad just very bright.
Very nice clock and charging station works great. The only complaint I have is that the light is VERY bright, even at the lowest setting. It really lights up the room when trying to sleep---so you either have to turn it away from you or turn it off completely. Other than that, it's great.

Convenient!
This little radio has a good sound and it is so convenient to recharge my iPod. Yes, I have to remove the iPod cover but that is simple. I'm really glad I got it!

Cheaper than I have seen in stores
I have been eyeing this for over a year. I saw it for $50 in all the stores at Christmas. What a bargin for $34.00. I like the unit because it is vertical rather than horizontal. Holds my Iphone and my Ipod - without the shell though. you can turn the blue side lights off or leave them on. I also like the fact that it comes with a lithium battery backup for power failures...... I am really happy with it. I bought it in the white. Glad I waited and got it for less than I saw 6 mos ago.
