A: The Scanner Guard Card is the size of a credit card that's designed to help protect personal information stored on cards that contain an RFID chip from e-pickpocket thieves using handheld RFID scanners.

Q: How does the Scanner Guard Card work?
A: The Scanner Guard Card has a special technology that blocks scanners from reading the RFID signals. The technology is embedded in the Scanner Guard Card. The card is very flexible, yet durable.

Q: Do the Scanner Guard Cards need to face a certain way in my wallet?
A: It doesn't matter which way Scanner Guard Cards face in your wallet. One side has the instructions and the other side has the Scanner Guard name, and it doesn't matter which side faces you inside your wallet.

Q: Why do I need to be protected?
A: Many cards are embedded with a Radio Frequency ID (RFID) chip. These RFID cards are susceptible to electronic pickpocketing. RFID protection helps prevent theft of information from cards containing RFID chips.

Q: How do I know Scanner Guard Card will really block RFID scanners and protect me?
A: MET Labs, North America's leading third-party RFID Test Lab, has tested Scanner Guard Card and proved that it works to stop credit card RFID information from being read by scanners. Furthermore, when used per instructions and when the Scanner Guard Cards are in slats on one side of the wallet, and the wallet is then closed, any credit cards that are in the slats on the other side of the wallet that come in close proximity to the Scanner Guard Cards, will receive the same protections from being scanned.

Q: Is the Scanner Guard Card indestructible?
A: The Scanner Guard Card has the same dimensions of your standard credit card. It's less than half as thick as a credit card. It's very durable, however, we don't suggest submerging the card in water for multiple hours.

Q: Will the Scanner Guard Card make my wallet bulky or uncomfortable?
A: The Scanner Guard Card is less than half as thick as a standard credit card so it won't increase the size of your wallet. You'll get the protection without the bulk.

Q: Why do we think Scanner Guard Card is great?
A: You don't have to change your habits. You just slide Scanner Guard Cards into your wallet. You can use your favorite wallet that you already have, and don't need to buy a new one. You don't need to take your credit cards in and out of paper sleeves. We think it's the easiest, most convenient solution.

Q: If I want to give it as a gift to protect my family members, how's it packaged?
A: Scanner Guard Card is beautifully packaged in a color blister pack, which includes a description and instructions. They'll feel like they received something of value and will know that you care for them and want to them to be protected.

Q: Will Scanner Guard Card prevent my access cards from being scanned?
A: Some access cards work on different frequencies and some of them will be able to be scanned. Your Scanner Guard Cards will still be effective and may help prevent electronic pickpocketing of your cards containing an RFID chip.
