Once I finally found the correct color, I love this foundation. I wear bare linen. It's perfect for my 62 year old slightly dry skin. It's just the right amount of coverage without being too heavy.

I was very unsure about purchasing this product, but I'm so glad I did. I'm a bare minerals girl love every product I've tried. This is the best matched my skin tone perfect. I'm African American have tan skin tone. I'm so glad I decided to try this. Love it.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Minnechicka Once you get it out, it's great! But...
I purchased this foundation as part of a kit figuring if I didn't like the product, I wouldn't be at a loss because of all the other things I got with it.
That being said, I was aware of all the problems with dispensing it when I purchased. And, they don't lie. I did have A LOT of trouble with it. At first for the first two weeks, it was fine. I found that NO MORE THAN TWO drops on the brush was more than adequate. Anymore, and it would smell funny and get a bit streaky. Any less and it wasn't enough. I would dab the brush on my forehead, on each cheek and chin and blend. No more then two drops to start with at most, then if you need more, one drop at a time. Trust me on this!
After about two weeks, the product refused to come out. I squeezed and squeezed and nothing would come out. Frustrated, I put it aside and opened it up two days later to try and when I squeezed it once it came SHOOTING out all over my hand, the brush, the sink, the mirror and my pants. And it stains. Fantastic. I went through this process for about a month. Finally I ended up prying the entire dropper end off with a nail file. Unfortunately it gets all over now--the top of the bottle, it's hard to control what comes out. FRUSTRATING. Now I use a medicine dropper to get it out; works better.
The product once you get it out is fantastic--especially if you have dry skin. I do, and the powder foundation just doesn't cut it anymore no matter how many primers and moisturizers I use. It leaves a dewy finish and does NOT transfer. However you have to get it out first.
Not recommended for anyone with oily skin. It IS a serum, and it will feel like it's just sitting there on oily skin. On mine, it sort of soaked in. When applied correctly it's VERY natural and I've gotten a lot of complements on it. The coverage is natural, but buildable. Another drop and I could get more coverage out of it.
However until they fix the bottle problem, I won't repurchase and I won't recommend. THE worst packaging I have ever encountered on a cosmetic product--and trust me, I have used A LOT of cosmetics/skin care. THE worst. Fix this and I will give it 5 stars, easy. For someone with dry skin, it's wonderful, seriously. Leslie or whoever is in charge of this stuff at bareMinerals--please fix the bottle!!!!
Rated 1 out of 5 by vidala Great stuff, IF you can get it out of the Bottle!
How did this get made? They had to know the bottle was too hard to squeeze. And with the ball shaker inside there, holding the bottle upside down is no better. Once I get any out, I DO like the product. FIX the Bottle PLS!

When I first tried this I wasn't sure about it. It seemed to go on kind of dry and I wasn't used to using this kind of brush. When I looked at my skin an hour later it was so beautiful I couldn't believe it. It makes my skin flawless and glowing. I am 46 and have dry sensitive skin. Love this foundation!
Rated 1 out of 5 by Lucy Jones defective bottle, product doesn't come out
The product is OK if you manage to get it out of the bottle. It's still too expensive for the quality of this foundation by itself. But considering that it's impossible to get it out of the bottle, it's worthless. You can't really squeeze the bottle, it's too hard. No matter how well you shake it (that's what they recommend to do), the product barely comes out if at all. It was like this from very beginning, otherwise, I would think it's old and dried out.
I bought it when it was a part of TSV set or I would definitely send it back. I would strongly recommend bareMinerals to fix the bottle problem.
Rated 5 out of 5 by JRW Better than the Airbrush system brand
It took me a few trys to convince myself that I only needed 3 maybe 4 drops of this product for my entire face, but eventually I got the application right and became a believer. I'm age 58 with fine lines, large pores, and deep wrinkles. I have had quite a time finding a foundation which addressed my concerns, didn't accentuate my flaws, and was worth the pricetag. I found it in one little bottle of BareMinerals bareSkin. I have an airbrush makeup system; bareSkin is better in quality and easier to apply than the airbrush & that company's foundation. I recommend it completely! Lightly brush the Mineral Veil over after application and you are out the door!

I'll give the product credit for giving decent coverage and going on smoothly. I used Suede, and the color was great. After some experimenting, I found the 2 drops used on the accompanying brush was sufficient to cover my face. I hated it at first, set it aside for several weeks, then went back to it. I eventually finished the bottle, but probably won't get it again. While it goes on smoothly and may look good upon first applying, I felt greasy within a few hours. I also found that it accentuated some large pores I have between my cheeks and nose. I also found the bottle to be extremely messy. You need to shake it thoroughly prior to applying. Even though I capped it tightly, I always seemed to end up with a lot of product on the inside of the lid or coating the tip where it gets squeezed out. And it's messy to clean up! I had to use paper towels b/c it was so goopy and oily. And if you don't clean it after every use prior to capping it, product will ooze out from beneath the cap. I feel like a lot of the foundation ended up on paper towels in my garbage can. I'm now trying the new gel cream (I'm reserving judgment for now, but may go back to the powder). Not a good value in my opinion.
