bareMinerals bareSkin Serum Foundation Auto-Delivery
Love the product. Goes on great last all day. I think the shade is off could of been darker.i don't think qvc carries my shade
This product spoiled quickly. Was not exposed to extreme heat. I used the product properly. It's way too time consuming to prepare. Bottle too hard to easily squeeze out product. I have no issues with ability to use my hands in this way. The coverage is odd. Streaky and mask like. So disappointed. Way overpriced.
Here is what I have discovered, first the brush is a disaster to clean, I did have a BareMinerals employee at a boutique show me a trick and it has become much easier, but still pretty time consuming. Second, works best when paired with PrimeTime primer, really makes the difference in staying power and appearance on the skin. Third, if you are finding that the makeup is sticking to dry patches or appears to separate on your face throughout the day try adding a scrub into your morning routine, adding that step did wonders for me. It takes some time to get used to in terms of application as you need to find the right amount of drops for your desired coverage, but overall this product has been my introduction to BE and I have already started switiching some of my other products to BE. For me and my overly sensitive skin this has been a miracle
overall: good coverage, light weight, buildable and blendable, and lasts all day.
The Only Liquid Foundation I've Every Liked
I don't seem to have any problems with the application of this foundation. Just two drops - really - only two does the trick. I use moisturizer and a primer and it still glides on without any trouble. I was complimented about my face every time I have worn this foundation. I do agree the color can be less than quickly matched. However, I have found that I like it just a wee bit lighter and gives a flawless look. I didn't wear makeup for years because of liquid foundation. Then, I discovered the original Bare Minerals. I was/am an addict of it. This, their serum version, has made me a convert as well. It is the only liquid foundation I have every wanted to use.
Love it! BUT....
I love this foundation! It gives great coverage, and lasts all day. I really wish QVC would carry my shade though. I am in 01 Porcelain, at least in the winter. The brush takes a little getting used to. I would say if you're having trouble getting a good blended out application, try a different brush or a beauty blender type sponge. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews as I really like this foundation. It's light weight, and it doesn't breakout my super sensitive skin. I definitely think it's worth a try.
I bought this in a set, primer, foundation, brush, cost me around 100 bucks. The woman at the store put it on very nicely and I was pleased however when I went home and tried it out it came out as horrible. A previous reviewer used the word muddy which is the perfect word to describe how it comes out. Very disappointed.
I purchased this and I like it but the bottle still has liquid in it and it won't come out. It is to expensive to throw away! I would not recommend this until something is done about how it is dispensed.
I love this foundation, I went to another store to get samples of a couple different colors before making a purchase, the lady at the store said bare walnut I told her it was gonna be to dark, but i took a sample, also of the bare almond and the color after almond, well I was right walnut was way to dark, Just because I'm african american doesn't mean we all wear the two darkest colors, I fell in love with the almond, it makes my skin look flawless, and doesn't skin into my skin by midday, I was not able to wear any of the foundation powders all the colors were to red on me, but I found my match...not to crazy about the brush...that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
Not a fan of the liquid serum
I tried it and it doesn't seem to blend well. I was very excited to get it because I am a huge fan of the powder. I am not a fan of the Serum Foundation.
WASTE OF MONEY
THIS PRODUCT LEAVES MY FACE MUDDY-LOOKING. IT IS VERY HARD TO BLEND. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. I AM GOING BACK TO MY OLD BAREMINERAL POWDER.
Ordered Twice, Gave Up
I ordered too different times, choosing colors that I thought would be a good match. However, both had too much yellow, and did not offer the proper coverage. They also faded quickly and the texture of the foundation was very thin. Waste of money.
Does not work as described in promo
I have been a bareMinerals gal for over a decade. With my aging skin and rosacea, I thought that switching back to a liquid foundation might appear more youthful, so I purchased a bareSkin kit with the foundation, a tinted powder and the Perfecting Powder. Boy, was I mistaken! First of all, 2 drops on the brush covers only 1/2 my face, so now I am using 5 to 6 drops for coverage. Secondly, I shake the bottle, then have to squeeze the rigid bottle to get the 2 drops to fall onto the brush with arthritic hands. Thirdly, the product does not blend well. It sits on my skin or sinks into my pores. Coverage of blemish is barely existent. Doesn't work well with moisturizer, so I switched to PrimeTime thinking that might keep the product out of my pours. Nope, didn't work. The tinted powder, included in the kit, just sits on top of the bareSkin foundation. Then I added the Perfecting Powder which doesn't add the finishing coverage that Mineral Veil adds. I end up with too much gunk on my face, just sitting there looking back at me in the mirror. Not good! So I am switching back to my bareMinerals foundation. Amazing to me that some reviewers gave this a 5 star. Just shows how different our skin types can be.
