Rated 1 out of 5 by from I thought it'd be the best purchase ever Rarely does it get everything off of the floor and it does not go in a consistent pattern. It often gets stuck on carpets and needs rescuing before it starts to beep for help. I could actually vacuum my floor since I have to babysit this vacuum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Bob so much!! This is a great machine. I have a Rumba and Bob. I use Bob for my kitchen and Rumba for the rest of the house. Bob works great and I love the UV light option. I have never had issues, I have 4 cats and 3 dogs so it gets a work out every day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely the best This BobSweep is the best item I have ever purchased from QVC, and I have been a customer since QVC came on the air several years ago. I have used BobSweep everyday since I got it, and it is amazing the amount of dust, and animal hair it picks up. I would highly recommend it. I emailed customer service with a question and received a quick response. It is nice to know they are there if I ever need something.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lazy This kept getting stuck on corners and when it would vacuumed it missed a lot of spaces and then would only work for a few minuets and go back to it's home. For me it was not worth it so I returned it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from just no This device is like a toddler. It is obsessed with putting power cords in its mouth, it ripped the bedskirt off the bed in the guest room, it dies in hard to reach spots, and ultimately, baby-proofing the house for this thing is more work than doing the vacuuming yourself. Back it goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love our new family member bOb When we received our bObsweep we were so excited to open it and let this thing go at it! I must confess we have had another robotic vacuum. It is not from the big robotic vacuum brand that you may be thinking of, but it was made by a company that has been making vacuums for over 100 years. Their product is fairly new to the market and leaves a lot to be desired. When it was moving and cleaning it was pretty good, but it spent much of its time trapped under or next to things and was quite the disappointment so we really had high hopes for “Bob”. Upon opening the package the first thing we noticed was just how well this package was designed. Not only is the Champagne color gorgeous, but bObsweep thought of everything. There are removable side brushes and the package included a screwdriver to install those, plus spare side brushes, pads to put on Bob’s bumper so he does not mark furniture that he runs into, HEPA filters, microfber cloths and more. One feature that bObsweep has that the others do not is you can tell it that once it returns home and charges, to deploy again and he will keep cleaning then charging, then cleaning and goes on and on. Bob is full of choices, when it comes to cleaning modes, you can choose spot, wall follow, zigzag or just use auto like we do. Bob features dirt detection sensors so if it detects a particularly dirty area it will trigger his “spot cleaning” mode and will go over that spot over and over in round and zig zag motions ensuring that every bit of the dirt is removed. So after having Bob for a couple of weeks, what do we think of him? I say that he is amazing and the husband and kids agree. I am not saying Bob is perfect, he does have a couple of quirks and we have just found out how to get around those. First of all the removable microfiber pad that can be used for mopping or dustmopping for us did make Bob get hung when going from hardwood to carpet so we removed it. If I want to mop the floors I just put the pad on it let it run that one time with it. On one occasion Bob got stuck under our bed and the spinning of the side brush got wound up in the tall frize carpet. I was able to untangle it and have had no more issues. Bob is very good about maneuvering around things. His bumper is very sensitive unlike our other robot so he normally knows when something is there and will maneuver himself around, our other vacuum would bang its head against the wall until it died because the bumper was not sensitive enough. The go home function is not always 100%. Bob reserves the last 15% of his battery to start finding his way home. To find its way home Bob uses IR sensors mounted to the top of Bob and one mounted to the top of the charging station which work off line of sight. So if Bob is in our bedroom and needs to find his way home he has no chance of seeing the sensor on the charging station in the living room. He will try to find his way home, but it does not always work out. We have our Bob set to run at 3pm everyday and he stays downstairs which is right around 2300 sq. ft. of space and I would say he covers half of that area on one charge. I do find myself sending him out to work an additional one time on most days so he has a better chance of covering the whole house and since his battery charges so quickly this is no issue.
