F09214 - Zumba Fitness Total Body Transformation System 8 DVD Set
Lots o' Fun.
Ordered this set and love the workout. It's lots of fun, gives you the workout you're looking for, all while learning new dance moves. The music is exhilerating, it even got my 60 year old mother motivated. Hope you enjoy.
CAN'T MOVE LIKE THAT
If you are un-corrdinated don't bother, but YOU may get SOME benefit from trying.
Having a Blast!
I've had this set of DVD's for about three weeks now and each time is more fun than the last as I get used to the moves. And I sweat like crazy, which I love! Zumba has totally reinvigorated my workout routine and I am having a blast!!!!
Love Love Love
I absolutely love these DVD's. I have only been doing this for about a week and I absolutely love them. I am not coordinated at all, but with practice I know I will get better with the moves. I may not look like the girls in the workouts, but I am moving and sweating. I highly recommend these workouts.
This workout is a blast. The music is awesome; the steps repeat enough that you can catch up if you get out of sync; you DO sweat and burn calories. I've tried many fitness genera but this one I'm sure I'll stick with!! It's better than some classes I've taken.
Umm the "before" pic of one of them is from like 10 years ago, and she had a personal trainer as well as lifting weights. Let's be honest here.
I have only been doing Zumba for 3 days, but I am "hooked". I am already looking forward to tomorrow. The time goes by so fast, and believe me, you will feel it the next day. Thanks QVC.
I'm a terrible dancer, but I love Zumba! The reviewers that say the moves are complicated don't realize that as long as you're moving, you're doing it right. These DVDs are perfect for anyone new to Zumba or simply looking for a way to do Zumba at home when you can't get to the gym. It's a great value with so many DVDs. I highly recommend it!
Fun and Addicting!
I must admit that, after I tried the basic workout, I was very frustrated with many of the moves. But I kept practicing, and I overcame my severe lack of coordination to get most of them down. I alternate the different workouts, depending on how much time and energy I have. I haven't done Zumba Live or any of the Target Zones yet, but I'm having a blast with the other workouts. Beto and Tanya are great instructors; their instructions are clear, and their banter is cute. (So is Beto.) The music is awesome! I like some of the songs so much that I downloaded them from iTunes. While I love the Sculpt & Tone, the sticks are a little light for me.
After one month, my legs and arms are more toned, and I can kinda shimmy now. I'm doing some sort of workout 5-6 times a week, and I work up a sweat every single time. I hope they come out with more DVDs soon!
Great if you dont have Bad KNEE
I really like the dvds. My only problem is that I have knee problems and this didn't help me according to my doctor so I had to return it.
I will be honest here: I own a lot of workout DVDs but I could never keep up with the moves, they bore me to death, so they sit in a collection doing what else...collecting dust. My friend goes to Zumba classes and she told me how great it is. I was so thrilled to have found it on QVC, but knowing my track record, I was thinking that I would not use this more than once. Well, I have been doing it for a week and I LOVE it! It is so fun. It reminds me of the days when I was younger and getting it crunk in the club. LOL! I am by no means coordinated and my hip-shaking actions are not as good as those in the videos, but I finish each workout sweating like crazy and wonder why it is over already. I have two suggestions: (1) Include stretch exercises for before you begin in the DVD, and (2) have all the workouts in one DVD or at least one package.
Not for Me
I wanted to love this! The good news is that this is fun, works up a sweat and has an excellent instructional dvd that is a workout in itself.
--I found the moves a bit complicated. There's some jumping in parts. I wanted to keep doing them so I would improve, but my knees and ankles are not loving this. There is a lot of twisting of your feet so having proper footwear and a good floor to dance on are necessary.
--you need to get proper footwear. An internet search will reveal what those brands are. Maybe QVC can offer these too?
I think I'll stick with my Stephanie Huckabee discs. But just because Zumba isn't for me, doesn't mean that you might not love it.
