faulty zipper I bought this last year & have only worn it a few times - Well this morning at -22 degrees out the zipper broke - tried to repair & the little plunger broke in half. Coat is warm but NOT a good purchase when the zipper breaks & needs to be replaced.... 01-16-09
Warm comfy coat! I love this coat! It keeps me warm when I walk my dog in sub zero temps and in the snow. In fact with the hood up it gets a little too warm. I washed it and line dried it and it is great. I ordered it in the tan - a nice neutral color. 01-10-09
really disapointed There was good news and bad news. The coat is wonderful. Warm, snuggly. But the zipper broke. I got this coat towards the end of the season last year and hadn't worn it much, but the zipper kept popping apart. This coat isn't too tight on me either. I haven't washed it yet, so that isn't a factor. This year I wore the jacket a couple of times and the zipper totally self destructed. Thank goodness it has snaps so I can still use it sometimes. If it wasn't a year old it would be going back! 12-15-08
Blue is beautiful I purchased this jacket for my daughter who is only 11, but is tall for her age and has long arms. I was looking for a blue jacket, her favorite color, but most of them are a pale blue and seemed like they would show dirt very easily. This one is an absolutely beautiful shade of blue. I agonized over the proper size (she is 5'2, 85 lbs.) and ended up ordering a small rather than an extra-small. I think I made the right decision. Although she probably could have worn it smaller, the small looks fine and is good for her long arms. Over all I think this is a classy looking jacket and seems like it will be warm without adding too much bulk. 10-28-08
The Good And The Bad I've had my jacket for 2 winter seasons. It's washable and comes out like new. The pink is a nice pale shade. As others have mentioned, the zipper comes apart often, but always is repairable after messing around with it. In my particular jacket, it runs quite a bit smaller than the measurements stated. I'm short(5 ft.), and it fits me fine. Anyone with long arms will have a problem if the other jackets are constructed like mine. 09-29-08
Knit cuffs too short In the Xsmall I found this jacket to be surprisingly more fitted than any of qvc's down/feather jackets or coats but because it's not very long it doesn't keep you super warm. Also, I haven't seen any feathers and I've had this for a few years (in pink) and after washing it still looks great. One issue though is the knit cuffs should be longer because when it gets bitter cold the knit cuffs just don't reach down very long or are close fitting to seal out the cold or wind like some of the other jackets. Definetly need long gloves for this one. When I ordered a different color later, I noticed that the cuffs were made of a different material. I ended up returning that one (in the tan) as I didn't find it flattering so don't know if the cuffs keep out the cold any better. 08-19-08
Warm and Attractive!! I have gone through two winters with this coat. I bought it in blue and it is a really pretty color. It is such a warm coat so I am never cold walking outside. I love the removable hood with the fur trim. I see some reviews on here have had zipper problems but I haven't had trouble with the zipper. I thought the sizing was true to size--I got an XL and I usually do. Great buy! 02-17-08
Great Jacket I have this jacket in pink since 2-3 years and am happy with it. It is VERY warm, even with the frigid temperatures and wind we had. No wind penetrates. The hood is just as warm and that you can take it off makes it versatile. No problems with any of the zippers other than that the pocket zippers [outside] are a little small and hard to pull. Love all the extra pockets inside for cell phone, cd or mp3 player, money; all secured with velcro or zipper. I wish they would make this into a coat-size [knees?] because it wears so well and sometimes you'd like to have more leg coverage. 02-12-08
great coat, lousy zipper I liked this coat so much, that when I melted one arm of it on the snowblower(lol) I ordered another one. It gets very cold here and I am always warm.I love all of the pockets...don't need to carry my purse shopping(much safer) BUT....The zipper started opening up from the bottom, and the little metal piece at the bottom fell off somewhere. Now I cannot use the zipper. I ordered another one, but it is on the wait list. If it comes, I will return the second one and give it one more try. I suggest zero Xposure redo their zippers with better ones...otherwise I would give this coat a 5 star rating...as it is, with the zipper problem I can only rate it a 1. 01-09-08
Attractive but not comfortable I like the look of this coat. It fits true to size and has worn well. It does, however, have some irritating flaws. The sleeves are lined with a fleece that actually get pulled through the cuff as you slide your arm into it. I then have to push the lining back up into the sleeve or pull it back into the arm of the jacket from the top of the sleeve. If you don't get it just right, the sleeves feel twisted and uncomfortable. The other flaw I have experienced is with the zipper. It has separated in the middle several times and it always gets caught in the inner lining making it very difficult to open and close properly. I don't want to wear the jacket out where I'll need to take it off (such as to a restaurant) because I have trouble unzipping it! I haven't been happy with this coat. 01-06-08
Zipper Issues Let me start off by saying that this is a warm jacket. But the zippers are horrable! The main front zipper is always getting stuck when zipping it up to the flap inside, and the zippers for the pocket are just as bad, besides being to small to pull up in the first place. Also 3 of the snaps do not snap at all. Cannot in good concience recommed this to anyone. 12-21-07
Too bad I purchased this jacket in the red and had to exchange the first one since they run big, I am by no means an XS but had to exchange my small. I was very excited to recieve my replacement yesterday, but was very dissapointed when the second to last button fell off. Now I have to return this jacket and pay for shipping again :( 12-19-07
