UPS arrived with a box with 4 holes in it. I opened the box, the parts with tossed around, and screws everywhere on the box floor. The parts inside were of a machine that was previously opened and partly assembled. It was not a new machine and many of the parts were not in the box so I couldn't assemble it. Also, the base plastic was cracked. I returned it..It was shipped from Xterra, so I blame them for the poor quality..

I am really just writing this review to help people because there are none at this point (besides the one I am typing) and I really wish there had been when I purchased this.
Thankfully I got this with free shipping otherwise I might knock off another star.
This product (once finally assembled) is pretty silent. Unfortunate the speaker is too, After a 2 hour assembly time I was relieved to finally be done. Only to find out that one key feature, the built in speaker will not work This product included am AUX cable, I tried another one I had and I tried 3 different audio devices, only to hear about 1 second of poor sound and then nothing.
That being said, it does offer a pretty good work out. Once it is put together.
The instructions were laughable for assembly. There was a disconnect between how the instructions were written and how it was packed. Many of the bolts already came with the specific washers and nuts put together but the instructions listed them all as separate pieces (with no specific images of what it said I was looking for) It wasn't really that hard to assemble but the diagrams and written instructions were a pain in the neck. A few changes to the way they were written and it would have been so much easier. Please use logic when putting this together.
The axles that connect the handle bars to the center post are also pre coated in grease. So um yea watch out for that. It does include 2 wenches and 3 Allen wrenches so the only thing you will need is a flat head screw driver.
Speaking of the screw driver, the instructions told me to use 4 screws to connect the console to the center post after finishing the assembly and connecting the wires. I could not find the screws, I checked the hardware bag about 10 times only to find nothing...I finally noticed the screws I needed were already screwed into the console and I needed to remove them and then use them to attach the console.
The whole thing came in a box much smaller than I expected but it will weigh in at 76 pounds! This thing comes in a dozen or more pieces and includes Styrofoam blocks as padding. The Styrofoam is the kind that falls apart into millions of little balls if you really should get the vacuum ready.
The only thing that was broken, besides the speaker, was one of the end caps on the rear support bar that rests on the floor. They are made of super cheap plastic and it was split in half...enter superglue.
The product, like I said does give a good work out and makes little noise. After only 3 minutes I was really feeling it. The display is bright and easy to read. The pulse meter says my resting heart rate is 104 beats a minute, so I don't exactly trust it. However, it is important to note that besides the confusing assembly instructions, greasy hands, bad speaker and busted plastic piece it is a pretty good machine. Well if you ignore the fact that no matter how hard you try the seat will always wiggle a little.
