Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Old Favorite Comes to QVC About twenty-five years ago I bought one of these for my family and also to use in my kindergarten class. It makes good popcorn every time, and it does not burn because of the rotating rod on the heating surface,. I never used the "add melted butter using the hole in the top" feature. I just popped the corn and turned the cover over, which creates a large bowl to serve it in. I salted and buttered it after inverting the top. You can watch the popcorn popping and keep track of the time needed to complete the process. Of course I paid a lot less when I bought mine, but it is really worth the price it is now. When I retired I left the popper with the teacher who replaced me, and she kept right on using it. This is a good way to make a large amount of popcorn all at the same time. You don't need a lot of oil and if you buy good quality popcorn kernels, you will have a perfect result each time.
