Didn't flatter my foot. The "Y" looked like it came up higher on the instep, but the way it hit my foot it made it look wide and just not flattering. I got my daughter's opinion and it was the first thing she noticed too. Good quality, good fit otherwise. I'm going to try some of the other styles in this brand.

Best shoe ever
My daughter has this shoe and recommended them. I need a shoe with good arch support and this shoe did not disappoint. It was comfortable right out of the box . I bought my regular size and there ws no problem with sizing

Not adjustable
I purchased these sandals based on another reviewer's comment that they were narrower than some other Orthaheel sandals and that the strap was adjustable. The buckle on the top of the strap can be adjusted, but it makes a bulge in the part of the strap underneath the buckle which rubs on your foot. Very uncomfortable, i.e. not wearable. These are going back.

These feel great!
I had been having trouble finding sandals to fit, my feet are so fat. Saw this brand on QVC TV and thought I'd give them a try. Some of the reviews said that they may be a llittle wide, so I thought that they would work. When I first got them, I thought that the arch may be a lttle high, but didn't take long to get used to it. Now I LOVE the high arch. It feels like a hug for my arch. I was having pain on the sole of my foot before I got these. Now that pain is gone. I try to wear them as much as possible. Don't be fooled though by the buckle. It is purely decorative. It really doesn't tighten the strap, but that's OK with me. Mine are a little big, I really didn't know what size to order. I didn't return them though, because I thought that the next size down maybe would be a little small.

OMG! I LOVE these shoes!
Having had multiple surgeries to reconstruct one of my feet, as well as rheumatoid arthritis and swelling, makes for a difficult fit for comfort & style. Thee shoes fit comfortable on BOTH feet and help with my knee & hip pain.
They seemed like the arch was a little high, and I have high arches, but after wearing them for a few minutes they seemed to mold to my feet. I did order a size down from my usual 9.5, to a 9 as recommended-perfect!
Awesome comfort! Will be ordering more!

one suggestion
Received these sandals and loved them right away. Fit was perfect (size 8 ordered but sometimes wear an 8 1/2). I think they do exactly what they are intended to do. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to secure the side straps further back toward the heel. This would prevent the "flip-flop" noise when walking. I wear them regardless as most other flip-flops make the same noise except for the ones I have that have longer side straps so that must be the difference.Other than that, I would definitely recommend them.

Had Potential...
I loved this sandal as soon as I opened the box, but not when I put it on. The shoe itself fit-my heel fit perfectly, etc. But the straps going across my foot were way too big/loose. I had to grip the front of the sandal with my toes. I felt that defeated the purpose of them helping my feet. I did tighten the buckle, which seemed to help, but it made the strap pucker weirdly, and was a bit uncomfortable. Sent them back.

SOOOOOO Comfy
Just received they are sooooo comfortable, just wish they could be made with a little higher heal to be worn with different style clothing. Sometimes you just need a little more heal.

LOOK Good but NOT Comfortable
I wanted a dressier sandal, and this seemed like a good choice, but they were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. The show host said it takes time to become accustomed to this style so I wore them for short period indoors before trying to wear them to go out... but they NEVER felt comfortable, even though they "FIT" perfectly. I bought 3 styles of these shoes and ALL HAD PROBLEMS... NOTE: This style is much more NARROW than the Mules or the casual thongs from Orthaheel.

Invest in yourself
These sandals are very comfortable and cute. Initially I thought they were a little high in price but after looking at other leather sandals they are very reasonable. I now have the brown, black and blue. The leather is good quality, the look and fit are good. They don't look orthotic at all. I went up a size. No break in period. Well worth the price and a great investment in myself.

Wonderful
I don't understand the negative reviews. This shoe is fabulous; comfortable and really attractive for this type of shoe. It says to size down if you're a half size, and I can see if you don't, it will feel loose.

Nice, but questionable workmanship
Had these sandals a little over a month and find they are cracking. They are comfortable and fit well, but now I'm concerned about how long they will last. For the price, I would expect better quality. Definitely buy size down from regular size.
Too late for me to return so I guess I'm stuck with them now.
