Sorry I had to return these shoes These shoes sounded like the perfect pair for me. My usual size was good, as far as the length of the shoe. However, the toe box was just too big!! The leather was kind of stiff. I was so disappointed I could not use these shoes and had to return them. 03-26-13

I Wanted to Like Them... I really wanted these shoes to be my go-to shoes, and I tried them out for three or four days, just couldn't get used to them. They felt heavy and clunky. Too much money to spend on shoes that are uncomfortable. Back they go. 03-17-13

very comfortable I have high foot arch but with ankles that turn inwards and often have a hard time finding shoes with good arch support. I got these in brown to wear at work where I'm mostly on my feet 8, 12, or even 16 hours long. I find these shoes not only with good support but it stabilizes my balance as well. It is very well made and looks quite pretty. I normally wear 7M in most shoes and got this in 7M and it fits perfectly (with light to medium-weight socks which I always wear when at work). I really love these shoes I got 2 pairs of them. 02-27-13

Comfortable Immediately! I ordered this shoe because I had been having heel pain for about a week-they felt soothing right away! I also ordered the Tide sandal but they are going back-awkward fit and uncomfortable. I may try another sandal, but I think the leather makes a difference. The look is updated and they do not look like an orthotic shoe! I will wear these to work and just about everywhere! Shoe was true to size. 02-12-13

Finally Happy I chose these recently after having been disappointed by other Orthaheel products made of synthetic materials. Wow! For me, these were a great improvement over the others I've tried, and I've been wearing them nonstop since they arrived. Not only does the leather make all the difference, but this style seems more refined somehow in the way it fits. The heel height is not as high as stated, as one's heel slips into a cup that serves to lower the effective height. Probably the actual height is about 5/8 inch. I ordered the black in size 8, my usual size being 8 or 8 1/2/ Euro 39. It fits perfectly. Inside the shoe the size is marked W8/39. This is a relatively new company that deserves some patience while they respond to our feedback. 12-11-12

Love this shoe I love this shoe. I tried the orthaheel flipflop, and loved them...so I thought I would give these a try. Wow, the leather feels great, and the arch is perfect for my high arches. My best advice is try them, if they work for you like it did for me you will be glad you spent a little extra for a nice fit. My only mistake was letting my daughter try them on...now I must buy her a pair for christmas. Also size down a half size...unless you want to wear heavy socks, or have a wide, or thick foot. I got the black, they look nice with jeans. 10-10-12
