Waterpik WP100W Ultra Dental Water Jet
Makes you want to use it everyday
I've had other Waterpik products due to braces, etc. One drove me nuts since it always leaked so I avoided using it and it sat there like a lump on my counter until I found this one. This is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I do not feel my mouth is clean unless I use it. I love using it and seeing the results. My dentist and hygienist love seeing the results too.
I bought this for my mother and she has not stopped raving about it. She has used teeth irrigation systems in the past however, this one surpasses all of them. It gets into areas where others could not. Excellent product and you will not be disappointed with this purchase. Great job QVC
I cannot express enough how important my waterpik has been to me through the years. It cleans between my teeth even where floss cannot get to. Check to see if you can get attachments for this model. (I just went and checked and this is the exact model that I have) I have an attachment that I purchased separately with a rubber pick that is super for getting down into the pockets. Yes I have a pocket! I am 62 years old and, not to brag, but I have all my teeth, even my wisdom teeth except for one and that tooth alone cost me, and I kid you not, $3000! I believe that the fear of loosing my teeth has kept me using the waterpik all these years. In all honesty, I think that I would have all sorts of tooth and gum problems without my waterpik. Get this! It is one of the best things you can do for yourself.
great care to assist with braces
Purchased for my teenage son, who got braces a couple of months ago. He uses more consistently than I would have thought he would..so far orthodontic check-ups have been good. I think it would be great for anyone with braces to help assure good oral hygiene. He feels more confident after using and says sometimes it is the only way he can get stuck- in food particles out.
Satisfactory Addition To Your Oral Hygiene Routine
My hygienist recommended this to me, because I have a few deep pockets in my gums. It really does clean the debris out well. I takes getting used to - I gave myself and the sink a good shower the first time! - but you quickly get the hang of it.
The water resevoir needs to be refilled for each person, but since it's just me and my son, that's no problem. It has the noise level of an electric toothbrush, which suprised me, because for some reason I just assumed it would be quiet. It has a small base, great for being able to just keep on your bathroom sink so you remember to use it.
I work in the dental field, and I just want to remind anyone who gets or has a Waterpik that it is not a substitue for flossing. It is a tool you use in addition to regular brushing (2x per day) and flossing (1x per day).
