Still Undecided, Can't recommend it yet....
The decision on this product is still up in the air..... Will try and find some of the Wilton's colored sugar and see how that works... Will also take some fine sugar and put it thru the cuisinart and really make it super fine and see how that works... Regular sugar is not the answer... Being a Waring product it seems well made... Wish me luck... I'll get back to ya.....

worst thing I ever bought from QVC
Thought it would be great for my grandchild, but I can't even get enough candy made to cover one cone.The small cup of sugar is not enough to taste. spend all this money for sugar and the worthless machine just to put in a yard sale.The time to return it expired before I tested it. So I am eating a machine instead of cotton candy. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible!
I, too, bought this for the family. After reading the instructions carefully AND purchasing the "organic cane sugar" (as recommended!), Koolaid, etc., we tried making the cotton candy. What a HUGE disappointment!! MAYBE a tablespoon of cotton candy was produced. This item was a waste of money. Now I will pay to send it back plus be out the money we spent to buy the supplies. :(

Works great`
I followed the instructions in the manual and it worked great. I used cotton candy floss that i purchased at a local rental shop. It worked great. Glad I purchased this.

Very Disappointing! Use Floss Sugar not cane sugar
After watching them use this on the air it was a must have in my home. Upon getting it and using it I have to say its very disappointing. Yes you can use house hold sugar and after doing so your going to want to toss it back in the box and send it back. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME USING House Hold Sugar. Get the Floss Sugar Cotton Candy Mix and youll see way better results but if you purchased this thinking it would be great to celebrate with fam and friends, think again. this item is great for a very young kid. they will love you to death for getting this for them. The Floss Sugar is the way to go not regular house sugar we use to make cool aid altho it will work but youll hate the results. I picked up about 12 bags of Floss sugar cotton candy mix from Toys R' Us and it works way better and the Cotton candy tatses greeat the machine just makes really small amounts at a time.

BAD BAD!!!
This product is the first thing from QVC Ive not liked!!! This machine doesnt work well at all and only gives a small amount of candy. My whole family is very disappointed in this machine!!!

It's a dud!
The first scoop of sugar produced a miniscule amount of cotton candy. After that, it broke. The center would spin; but the heating element would not heat up. Definitely not worth purchasing.

lots of fun!
this is a fun item and would be great for kids or partys. Unfortunately this didnt work for what my husband wanted it for - but I was quite impressed with it. Please note, it can take some time to get the hang of it - please watch a video or two of someone making candy before you send it back...once you get it - it is easy.

not what I expected
My son has been bugging me for a cotton candy maker for quite awhile, so when I saw this on clearance I jumped on it. This is not what I expected, we followed the instructions carefully, and like the other reveiwers stated, we only got a lemon size amount of cotton candy with one scoop of sugar, and it wasn't as easy to clean as they claim. I'm sending it back, don't waste your money on this(got to stop complusive shopping), shipping it back will cost me $8.95. ):

Love it! So much fun!
Got this for Christmas and tried it right away. Made me feel like a kid again. It will be a big hit this summer at my cook outs! I had no trouble using it. Did it just like Jill did during her presentation. So fun!

LOVE IT
I bought this to send to my grandbaby for her birthday, but after my daughter said send it back, I decided to keep it at my house for when she visits. We have had a blast making cotton candy. We got the Wilton's colored sugar and it works just great.

Shipping back FAST!!!!!!
Got this for family fun night. Tried it out and all we got was a cramp in the arm. Could hardly even get a string of sugar on the cone. The kids were very diappointed. I will also be returning the ice-cream maker. Not worth the mess it takes to prepare the mixture.
