I live in the city with a normal city lot but in the fall have a lot of leaves to contend to. I like to catch my grass clippings when cutting my lawn, so what do I do with the leaves every week before cutting. I thought I would try the Worx Leaf Mulcher. The mulcher works great, you have to be patient when feeding the hopper, you can't jam a lot of leaves in at a time but can get rid of a huge pile in 10 minutes. Some reviews said it was dusty, but if you stand up wind of the hopper when feeding the leaves, it was not bad. I used a poly garbage bag which fits over the frame and the mulched leaves drop into the bag. Over all I am very satisfied with the purchase was easy to assemble . The cutters are a heavy gauge poly lines like a weed eater, not some steel blades. They work very well.

We brought this a year ago and I can not tell you how much We love this mulcher. We spend 4 hours each weekend, until the snow flies, one of us on the lawn tractor and one mulching leaves. Just be prepared to go through a lot of line, during the 5 hours we replace it at least 6-8 times (and that's after babying it to the very end). I would, and have, recommended this too many people.
The two things I would recommend is to make the line stronger and to make the base/legs a little taller to fit the paper bags that you buy at hardware store for leaf raking.

Easy to order, delivery was great, good price....except the device would not mulch the small branches in my leaves. Did a great job on just leaves, although a bit messy. I will stick to grinding things with the lawn mower.

This product was very easy to unpack, assemble, and use right out of the box. It did a better than expected job of chopping up dry leaves, but a facemask is suggested for the dust!

I bought this because we moved into our new home with two large trees. Even small sticks damage the plastic cutting wires, so it needs to be just leaves as much as possible, which is pretty hard to do on our property. It definitely didn't mulch to the size stated. It was more like 50% of the size, which is still decent enough.
It blows leaves and debris all over the place while using, so don't bother taking again until you're done.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Redbone I've owned two of these in the last 4 years. Both have died in the process of being used. It was embarrassing, at the time, to have go back to the old way of mulching leaves. At best, the durability of this product is suspect. However, the product is well conceived and would have been great, if it had more longevity.

I bought this product after moving onto a property abandoned for 2 years, meaning 2 years plus worth of leaves and grass to clean up. While I wouldn't feed this machine anything but twigs it's chewed through 7 cartfuls of leaves and grass clippings so far without ANY issues at all. Except for changing the whips every now and again. And it really does reduce the bulk by a good 10:1 ratio and more.
It's not so great with wet stuff, or fresh. But if you're patient and let it dry out some it'll get it.
I'm so pleased to have bought an item that lives up to the manufacturers promises and this little mulcher does.

Having read the reviews, I chose this mulcher shredder for my raked leaves. Using the recommendations of others and the guide, I used only dry leaves (which included some very small twigs.) The shredder worked great (and quickly) turn the leaves to mulch that's now on my garden beds. I was able to fill the funnel with leaves and run them through successfully; didn't need to do the "one handful at a time" others recommended. Now I just need more leaves!
