WEN by Chaz Dean Volumizing Treatment Spray
Lavender horrible scent!!!
Just received the Lavender and what a horrible smell it has. I am shocked anyone can think this smells like lavender let alone a nice scent., On the other hand I also received two Wen items of Honey Lilac which has a wonderful scent. Finally something from Wen that smells good. Bring back more Lilac!! The Lavender is going back!!
Vomumme Bounce & Lasting Style!
Waited until I used the product a few time until I reviewed.
One of the best new changes I've made to styling my hair.
I have curly, wavy thinning hair that is shoulder length.
I spray the product in as directed & flat iron my hair when air dried.
Bouncy fuller looking hair
Style seems to last longer too
Smells wonderful as well!
Tip, make sure to hold bottle away from head as directed.
GREAT BUT TOO PRICEY, REALLY
It does last a while, though. Got the sweet almond first and it's great smelling. The lavender I got the second time and truthfully, it smells like bathroom freshener to me. Would have given 5 if not for that.
Great product, very happy user
I have been using WEN products for about four years and love the Volumizing Treatment Spray. With very short grey hair that has a mind of its own, I rely on this product to give me the spikes on top that I like without heavy, sticky product. I spray a few pumps, style with my fingers and then give a quick once over with the spray again. In total, maybe five pumps so it does last me a long time.
CHANGED MY HAIR
I have volume back in my hair, THANK YOU CHAZ! This product is amazing. I mix it with my styling cream to my soaking wet hair and the blow dry. WOW what a difference. This is now a must have for me. I'm putting it on auto delivery so I am never without. If you have flat hair give this a try.
Better On Second Try
Bought this a while ago..hated it, and pushed it to the back of my bathroom cabinet..being a devoted wen girl, was surprised that a product touted by Chaz did not perform as promised. Yesterday, cleaned out my beauty cache, and rediscovered this..gave it a try on my fine, wet hair just at the roots...wow, volume as promised!
My naturally curly hair loves this!!
I have naturally curly fine hair just past my shoulders. I've been using Wen products for a little over a year. Using the Volumizing treatment spray with the Wen Styling cream has made a big difference. After cleansing, while I'm still in the shower, I use a full pump of the Styling cream and work it through well, then after I dry my body, I use another half pump of the Styling cream mixed with 5-6 sprays of the Volumizing treatment spray and work it through my hair really good. It doesn't matter if I air dry or use the diffuser, my curls are very defined and really bouncy. Much more so than with the Styling cream alone. It never makes my fine hair heavy or weighed down. If I'm going out and want a little more hold I'll spray it on my dry styled hair and I have no worries. It's great for an alternative to hair spray. Definitely recommend!
My Desert Island Product
I cannot live without this!!! I have very fine hair, that is over processed ... Or make that "was over processed", since I started using wen even my husband notices how healthy my hair looks! I used to use a ton of products in my hair to try to get half the volume the volumizing treatment spray gives! In combination with the mousse I actually have to try to tame down the volume, and being a child of the '80's I love big hair! Thank you Chaz! I never thought it would be possible to have big hair that looks and feels shiny and healthy!
Fine hair beware
This product, fig volumizing treatment spray, leaves my hair hard, crunchy, sticky, tangly, and impossible to comb through. It's bad hairspray! I tried it on wet hair, dry hair, styled hair...it's just awful. My hair is super soft with other products but be careful of the supposed "treatment sprays".
Product & Package changes
I love Wen, But in the past year and a half some of my favorites have been changed
. For this product it now smells like hairspray and my cuticles are drying out terrbly and cracking. never had this problem in the past. Please Chaz quit fixing things that are not borken . Guess losing an established client base is ok with your marketing people. So sorry things are changing for the worse. Please go back to original pomegranate voluinzing treatment spray, original fall ginger pumpkin cleansing conditioner and original tea tea treatment oil. All of the newer tweaks are making my hair look dirty and feel like straw. So so disappointed.
I HAVE USED THE CLEANSING CONDITIONER AND STYLING CREME FOR ABOUT THREE YEARS AND LOVE THE CONDITION OF MY VERY FINE, COLOR-TREATED HAIR. I HAVE ALWAYS RELIED ON MOUSSE TO CREATE VOLUME, BUT I RECENTLY TRIED THE VOLUMIZING TREATMENT SPRAY AND AM AMAZED AT THE VOLUME I CAN CREATE AND THE HOLD IT HAS. NOW I DON'T HAVE TO USE TONS OF HAIR SPRAY. THIS IS NOW A MUST HAVE TO KEEP MY HAIR LOOKING ITS BEST.
Product made my hair stiff & gave it hold so how can that be good to spray on my skin too?
During presentation host was spraying on face to set makeup and on skin for moisture.
Alcohol is an ingredient so don't think I will be spraying on my skin.
As a hairspray I like but decided to return because it smelled terrible! Sweet almond mint?
No almond smell, just a cheap minty smell like mouthwash. This is being returned but $6.97 s&h? A bit much for this little bottle. Probably would have kept if smelled better.
