product thumbnail
What is it: A texture balm stick perfect for short, spiky styles. Adds texture and definition to any look. Great for adding moisture to ethnic hair.

Who is it for: All hair types.

Why is it different: Create a sexy disheveled look--an edgy, spiky style for short hair or a relaxed and loose look for longer tresses--with this versatile finishing-stick pomade. Add definition, separation, and texture to different hair types while providing hold and a touch of shine.

How do I use it: Use on dry, styled hair. Rub stick into palms. Apply suggested amount to mid-shaft, ends, or specific pieces. For extra hold, combine hair spray and texture balm by spritzing palms with hair spray before application. For short hair, apply with hands or directly with the stick for a textured/disheveled look. For fine hair, apply two to four strokes directly to your palms and spritz with your favorite hair spray to create texture without weighing down the hair. For medium to coarse hair, apply four to eight strokes with or without hair spray, depending on desired results. For coarser, curly, ethnic hair, apply six to 12 strokes or more to help tame, hydrate, and control frizz, waves, or curls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT ....CHAZ!!!!!! please make more scents I have asked and asked and asked, so maybe this will be the post that CHAZ reads. Please make the balms in more "flavors" We have used the same ones for 10 years. When I use Pumpkin, or Vanilla, or whatever as a wash, I would like the same scent to continue with the rest of the hair care that I use. PLEASE!!!! Love your products, will never change, but give us short spiky hair people more choices like you do with every other product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pleasantly surprised I had tried the infomercial version of this product and wasn't that thrilled with it for my hair (loved it for my lips and cuticles though). I'm pleasantly surprised with this one. I am growing out my bangs and today I applied it quite heavily, followed up by a blast of volumizing mist - copying how Chaz would style the pompadour style he had for a bit without the pouf :) I've combed it out and my hair is not greasy or heavy, just nicely swooped to the side. I am impressed. I think it's something I'll still have to use judiciously as I do have fine hair. And yes, it is still awesome on dry cuticles!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hidden Gem....not Just For Hair! I love the effect on my pixie cut....I have baby fine, thin hair. I use two swipes and 2-3 spritz of Wen volumizing spray, rub hands together, then lightly fluff my dry, styled hair to complete . Looks great and lasts all day, without weighing my hair down. It's definitely possible to use too much, resulting in dirty/greasy looking hair, easy does it. The true star is the effect on skin. I use this balm on my lips before bed and on heals after using emjoi Micro Pedi. I wake up with soft, smooth lips and feet. Love this product. Product would last forever if used exclusively on hair, but since I literally use from head to toe, I'm guessing I will get 3-4 months out of one container. So still a good value.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok but not for me I have used products similar to this in the past and never had much success. I thought this might be different but it is just too heavy for my fine hair (even using a very little). The scent is nice and refreshing. It does separate the hair but as in the past, my hair just looks dirty. I am sending it back.
