Rated 5 out of 5 by Good value! I settled on the Tea Tree when Wen first introduced his products. I decided to try this because I've disliked the seasonals, 6-13, or bamboo/rice water scents and wanted a bit of variety. It had been many years since trying the Almond - which I discovered that I like very, very much. Compared to the Tea Tree (which I still like), it has a mild scent and seems appropriately assigned to the "universal" category. This pair is both a good varietal combo and an excellent value. I'm glad I ordered the pair on A/D. But - here's how I use Wen: I first apply hair oil (Wen or other) to my hair. If I have time I leave it for an hour. However, mostly, I apply oil a couple of minutes before stepping into the shower. I wash first with Wen shampoo AND THEN, I apply an anti-flake shampoo (I like PhlpB 1) to my scalp and massage it in well, trying to avoid my hair. After washing/rinsing face/body, I rinse the two shampoo products (and oil) out and apply a small pump of the Wen shampoo to my wet hair. and squeeze my hair. I use a pump of styling oil, then blow dry. In this way, I maintain the condition my hair (resulting in less hair in the drain and breakage). and avoid product build up, itching and breakouts on my scalp. I wash my hair every 3 to 4 days (used to be every day!). I have shoulder length very wavy, mostly silver and also light brown hair. I blow dry my hair to hang straight. 11-04-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by Overpriced The hype on Wen is relentless, so I gave in and tried it. I never saw the results I hoped to see, and if the tea tree was good for dandruff, it wasn't good for mine. I like the idea of sulfate-free on color-treated hair in particular, but Wen's version is overpriced and ineffective. I had better luck when I just used conditioner on my hair and no shampoo at all. 10-07-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by My favorite I've used WEN for 10 years. Love this product. This is always my go to fragrance. I'm African-American with curly hair. The BEST hair product I've ever used. I'm the real WEN girl! 08-18-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Tea Tree The very first thing I noticed was that my hair stopped breaking and falling out after the first use. My hair is soft, shiny and full. I absolutely love this one. I have been using the tea tree for a couple of months now and my scalp and hair feel healthy again. I can see little hairs sprouting up by the front on my hair line . I do not have to color my hair as often. The color lasts much longer. I love this product so much that I am trying other versions as well. I love QVC'S easy pay offers and with auto ship you can lock in the price. I am totally hooked...... 08-04-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by tea tree smells like pesticide! I love Wen! I began using almost a year ago! Started out with Lavender which is my favorite! Tried the Sweet Almond Mint/Tea Tree Duo and the Tea Tree smells like pesticide, almost offensive, but I am using it to see if the benefits outweigh the smell. My hair is so much fuller, I color less and it has almost completely stopped falling out like it was before I started. Thrilled! 07-10-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love it, BUT I love my WEN. I have been using WEN for 2 1/2 - 3 years. The only thing I don't like is the tube/straw that is used for the products to be pumped out. It is not long enough to pump all of the product out of the container. This is on the Cleanser, mousse, and styling cream. This is why this product gets a 4 star & not a 5 star. If this one thing would improve, I would give these products 5 stars. I would recommend this product because I love the way my hair looks and feels. Thank you Chaz! 06-13-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not For Me I love the Sweet Almond Mint, but the Tea Tree smelled like I was putting Raid into my hair. The stench was horrible. I threw the bottle of Tea Tree away. I should have known better than to get two scents in one order. Horrible waste of my hard-earned money. Very disappointed. 05-02-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Wen girl forever from now on I thought everyone had lost their minds at first, then my daughter tried Wen and was sold. I still was not sure. Finally, I tried this. One of the biggest reasons was because my scalp was always itchy and my hair is thinning on top. I have been using this for 4-5 months. My scalp is no longer itchy and Wen makes my hair look fuller. It actually lifts the roots and it stays looking fuller from cleansing to cleansing. I now have it on Auto delivery. And I actually believe that my hair has started to grow on top--just a little; but it helps. I think it is because I stopped using all those chemicals. I am also trying out other Wen products like 6-13.Keep the Wen and the good deals coming!!!! 04-18-15
