WEN by Chaz Dean Pets Cleansing Conditioner, 64 oz.
I have a retired competition Malinois (French Ring Sport, Ring 3) and the VERY FIRST TIME I used this cleanser, his coat went from coarse and wirey to a blanket of soft, gorgeous waves down his entire body. Total strangers now stop us and comment on his coat, and I always tell them that he is a Wen boy. Love the smell too (maple), as does Mommy's Boy. We no longer have a struggle at bath time, and he looks and smells soooooooooo good!! :-)
Wen Pets is the Best!
I use this on my terrier/beagle mix. I love that it keeps her from scratching all the time. It keeps her white coat soft and healthy. It smells very good, too. It smells like maple and vanilla to me. This bottle lasts a long time. I will purchase this again. Thanks Chaz for another wonderful product.
This made my pomeranian's fur so soft and silky! He didn't seem to mind being bathed with it either! I will be purchasing this again!
A little thick!
I've used this on my dogs and I love the smell. It actually is a little too thick but I figured out that you use very little of the product and use more water. It is a really big bottle, so for my dogs (who are small) this is going to last for quite a while.
Best Pet Cleanser!
I have 4 German Shepherds and the Wen Pets Cleansing Conditioner is amazing! I will never use any cheap brand of shampoo/conditioner again. Their coats are incredibly soft, smooth and shiny! I also added a hint of the bath and body oil by Wen to their coats once dried and they look and smell amazing. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who bathes their own dogs.
I used MY Wen on my German shepherd, “Alpha” and it was wonderful so when I found Wen for Pets I hoped it would be just as good...IT IS AWESOME my Alpha already has a great coat and this product made his coat even shinier and soooooooooooooo soft plus he smells even better than before. You have to be sure to rinse very well but it is easy to use and I would/have recommend to my friends for their pets. GREAT STUFF!
My dog's fur has never been more beautiful
I gave a bottle of this to my groomer to use on my Golden. I have been using 6-13 for about a year and a half and my hair has never looked so good, so despite the cost, I decided to buy this for my dog. I can't believe how soft and silky her fur felt right after grooming and how nice she smelled. Her fur is still like silk a week later. She has lots of allergies that affect her skin and she's had no problem since she was groomed. I think the ingredients may have been soothing to her skin. Totally worth it. I made a full bottle according to the directions because she is a large dog, but the groomer only needed about two thirds of the bottle, so if you are washing your dog yourself, start with a little less. You can always make more. The only problem I encountered was with the pump. I think mine is defective. It oozes conditioner out right near the neck of the large container where the pump goes down when you press it. What a huge mess. I threw the pump out. As far as the performance of the conditioning shampoo is concerned, it's another home run for Chaz Dean.
Needs better fragrance
Would prefer a clean fragrance after bathing my dog although she looked clean, she didn't pass the cuddly test.
I have been using Wen for 2 years and finally 3mths ago tried it on my Lucy, she is a 4yr old German Rottie she is gorgeous but we struggled with allergies and her scratching(but no more) I tried everything went to home remedies and nothing help. I don't know it was one day I finally woke up and used my WEN on her and OMG no itching or scratching so of course I ordered Wen for pets to save money, I swear it smells like 613. My Lucy is an inside dog however loves to play hard when outside, all I do is wipe her paws and quick spray of replenishing mist and she is good to go. Thank you Chaz for loving our pets.
Messy, Messy, Messy
Wow, what a mess. First, the directions are written on the bottle in some micro script that requires a magnifying glass to read. Second, trying to pump the solution into the bottle provided to dilute it is almost impossible,as it clogs at the spout of the bottle, and pours over the edge, repeatedly. Next, when you try to close the spout from the original container, you have to push down with some force, and spin it around, all the while more product is spilling out of the spout. All that before you have even tried to apply it to your pet. I found that the amount for a large dog was way more than was needed for my 95 lb black lab - I had him completely coated with it and still had about half of the bottle left. It also was not easy to rinse from his coat - It took a lot of effort to get him rinsed down. I definitely would pay for a groomer to bathe him, to avoid the hassle of trying to use this product. Unfortunately, given the cost, I will now have to bathe him myself until this is gone. Hopefully it will get easier with experience.
Do not know what all the hype is with this product, it smells terrible its to thick and it does not desolve well. Back it went.
Love, love , love this product
I have a 2 year old golden retriever who has a skin disorder. During her first year we used a prescribed shampoo and conditioner but I wanted to try another product. As a Wen user myself for many years I decided to give the Pets Cleansing Conditioner a try and I'm glad that I did.
It was easy to mix the solution with water and there was enough product to easily cover my 65 pound dog. I left the cleanser on for 5 minutes as directed and rinsed her off thoroughly. After she dried her coat was just beautiful and she smelled terrific. It's been a week since she was bathed and she has not been scratching herself at all.
Thank you for such a great product!
