WEN byChaz Dean Lavender Cleansing Conditioner 32 oz.
Results are like drugstore shampoo
I am very disappointed with Wen! I finally decided to try it in January bought the deal with the 6thirteen in it. The longer I use it, the worse my hair gets. I have hair sticking up and out on the top my head, just wild. My hair is frizzed and horrible. Sorry, I was hoping it would be like the advertisement, but it's not. I can't understand the good reviews on this product.
Lots of Body
I do not like the smell of the Lavender Cleansing Conditioner, but it gives me the body that I need for my thinning hair. I do believe that it helps to hold the color in the hair and it seems that I do not have to touch up the roots nearly as often.
I only gave hair products as a gift once in my life and the lady seemed insulted. The product was expensive and it should have been well received.
Not what I expected
I have long hair...past my waist. This cleansing conditioner doesn't seem like to clean my hair. I love Wen but don't think I would by the Lavender again.
Nice for the hair the color Hype is overrated
While I love Wen for the conditioning properties and the overall heath of my hair its nice, but the presentation with the loss of color and all the blah blah about no color loss is not true. I have dyed RED hair and use a professional color (I am a cosmetologist). No matter if I use only WEN to cleanse MY COLOR STILL BLEEDS and fades.
I put off ordering this for a year or more and then decided to try it recently. I was afraid it would make my hair oily, but it is just really the greatest product I have ever used on my hair and will never go back to shampoo again. My ends were looking like straw and I hated that look, but now my hair is so shiny and in such good shape. I highly recommend it to everyone...
Win WEN SITUATION :)
I have now thrown out every shampoo and conditioner I had. I only have WEN now. I went to my salon to get my hair colored as usual and I brought my WEN Fig for her to cleanse my hair with. When she finished cleansing my hair all I heard was OMG OMG. My stylist could not believe how soft my hair felt and I lost NO color while washing my hair. She is in shock. I am now her human WEN experiment. I have been using Fig. I just got the 32 oz. Lavender Cleansing Conditioner today. I also got the spray mist Gardenia Green Tea. I have my list of all the WEN I will be getting to mix and match. The different scents are the best mood lifter ever! I am so glad I found WEN. I love my hair now. Thank you :)
Love the Lavender smell however it's kinda drying on my long coarse hair & the 613 was a bit heavy on my hair. I like volume in my hair not that flat look. I tried Pomogranite and loved it however I couldn't handle the sweet cough syrup smell, so I gave it to my daughter. Ideally a mix of 613 and Lavender would be perfect so I will try that next time I order.
Find Your Own Way to Make it Work
I have fine, thin hair that tends to be very oily so I was worried about trying this product. Regular shampoos were making my hair so frizzy that I finally broke down and gave it a shot. At first I followed all the directions and used that crazy amount suggested for my hair type and length. It worked and I liked the results, but I could only use it for about three days straight before my hair started to feel really dirty at the scalp. So, I tried using traditional shampoo every few days with Wen (I use lavender) following as a conditioner. PERFECT solution for me! My routine now is 2 days of all Wen, then a day with shampoo and Wen, 2 days with all Wen, etc. My hair has never felt better or been healthier--it's even feeling thicker, even though I know that's not possible. My color lasts longer, too. I don't always need to add any as a leave in, but I do if I'm going to do heavy styling with heat. Makes my hair super shiny. Most of the time I let my hair air dry and I find the added leave in will weigh it down then. If I blow dry, the leave in is great. Now that I've experimented and found my own way with the product, I'm very happy to have found it. It's very different, but worth a try if you're curious.
I love all the Wen products I use ( the cleansing conditioner, the replenishing mist, and the styling cream). They really do what Chaz says they do. My hair feels just wonderful!
I've been using the Lavender cleansing conditioner for about six months and it has been working very well. I've read that some reviewers claim that their hair started to fall out. I'm not going to question their experience but I found the opposite to be true. I had bariatric surgery and due to the rapid weight loss my thick, long hair started to fall out. I started to use the Wen cleansing conditioner and it helped my hair look thicker and fluffier.
After a few months when my weight stabelized the hair loss slowed and my hair is growing back again. The Wen still works well and keeps my hair so soft, clean and silky and I double process my hair. Another reviewer said that her scalp was itchy and I noticed the same thing in the beginning. However, I found that if I give my scalp a good scrubbing with the Wen my scalp itchiness disappeared and felt much cleaner.
The lavender fragrance is a bit strong when using it but after shampooing it leaves a lovely, light scent of lavender which I love.
Give this cleansing conditioner a try. It takes a little while to figure out how to cleanse and how much to use but you will be happy.
Oh yes, it really does work super well as a shaving cream! I love it.

Lavender Weighed Hair Down, Try Pomegranate
I have used Pomegranate and Lavender. Lavender left a film in my hair and weighed it down.
I love the Pomegranate! I have shoulder length fine, thin hair. My hair looks and feels wonderful with Pomegranate.
