Description
What is it: WEN is a revolutionary concept that was developed as an alternative to the way people are used to cleansing their hair. It eliminates the use of shampoo and its harsh detergents and chemicals. WEN Kids Cleansing Conditioner replaces shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler, and leave-in conditioner, giving you five products in one bottle.

Who is it for: WEN Kids Cleansing Conditioner will effectively cleanse and hydrate all hair types.

Why is it different: Following the concept started by Chaz Dean, WEN Kids Cleansing Conditioner eliminates the use of harsh detergents or chemicals, effectively cleansing and hydrating the hair. It's specially formulated for children, the unique formulations gentle for pediatric use. WEN Kids Cleansing Conditioner uses beneficial ingredients extracted from fruits and botanicals, providing hair with the moisture and hydration it needs to stay as healthy-looking and shiny as possible. Each formulation is universal. WEN Kids Cleansing Conditioner is available in three fruit scents--Apple, Watermelon, and Strawberry Banana--which can be used or mixed together as desired.

How do I use it: Rinse hair thoroughly, then apply 10 to 20 pumps of WEN into palms and rub together. Apply 20 to 30 pumps for thicker/longer hair. Apply to scalp and add a splash of water to create a foaming effect. WEN has no detergents or sodium lauryl sulfate, so it won't lather. Massage thoroughly into hair, comb through, and leave in for the duration of shower for maximum cleansing and conditioning. Rinse thoroughly and completely, massaging scalp and running fingers through to the ends. Apply 1/2 to one pump, depending on hair length and texture, as a leave-in conditioner to soaking wet hair. For best results, it is suggested to cleanse, rinse, and repeat, using half the recommended pumps for the first cleanse and the remaining half of the pumps for the second cleanse.

WEN by Chaz Dean Kids Cleansing Conditioner 16 oz. is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 400.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only used it once so far... Even though I've only tried it once I am very impressed. I used it on both of my children and they officially had NO TEARS! I have bought several kids shampoo that say no tears but they always end up crying so it was good for once not to have any issues with tears! Also when I'm usually combing my daughter's hair out she always says "ouch", but I heard NOTHING this time. Not a word! And they were still a few tangles but absolutely nothing. I use WEN myself all the time so wanted to try it for the kiddos! Just as impressive and we have (I'm looking for the politically correct term) "Black hair". LOL works great for us

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I have been using wen for years and am very happy. I purchased the children's wen for my niece, and it is horrible it matted her hair so and left a terrible texture. Not happy at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been using Wen for 8 years I have tried them all. My hair had gotten 10 times thicker over the 8 years. I have had baby fine hair, so I was told all my life. But since Wen hardly non left in the hair brush and I swim almost everyday. (and my hair is colored) This one just smells so fresh and the formula is perfect since I am washing it everyday when i get out of the pool. You have to give Wen a chance to do its Magic. After the first shampoo you will notice a huge difference. Love love love this one. BTW my hair has never fallen out with Wen, (not any of them) just the opposite. I love it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't like I just started co washing about 2 weeks ago. I decided to try Wen to see if it was better than the product I am currently using. The smell of this particular Wen product is off putting to me. I tried it several times thinking I'd get use to it but didn't. The cleaning ability is not near as good as the other product I am using. The Wen leaves my hair weighed down with a waxy feeling on it. The other product I use does not. I will just use this to wash my dogs because I don't want to waste the money spent by throwing it out. I also noticed this co wash has a much thicker and pastier consistency than the other product I am using. Might explain the waxy feeling.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made hair incredibly dry I have used other Wen products, including this one in the past. I used once and noticed my hair was very dry. Skipped it the next washing and then tried again, same issue - very dry. Returning.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the perfect pant I thought they were going to be a skinny style or at least how it looked on Susan. Just because you order a larger size, doesn't mean your ankle or lower leg is larger...too wide at the bottom. I did like the navy color and fabric.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'll stick with the almond mint wen I have baby fine natural blond hair and have been using the original wen for over 5 years. I wanted to try out the kids version to see if I got a different result. The scent was ok but not remarkable. I've used it twice and it just didn't do much for my hair. I'll give this to my niece to try out. I still love wen (for me: sweet almond mint/winter mint seasonal and wen for pets for my German shepherd)!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my daughter I decided to purchase this after months of frustration during bath time with my 3 yr. old daughter. She doesn't like to have her hair washed because she's worried about the shampoo burning her eyes, and she also doesn't like to have her hair brushed because the tangles hurt. She has fine hair but a lot of it, so it tangles easily. We had daily struggles over hair care that left us both frustrated. I just happened to have QVC on TV in the background one day and Wen for Kids was being shown. It caught my attention and I decided to try it to see if it would help with bath time and hair brushing. I'm SO glad I bought this; it sounds overly dramatic, but this has been a game changer. Bath time is much easier (with Wen, I only have to wash her hair once; don't need to do shampoo and conditioner) and the tangles are much, much easier to get out of her hair each morning. We've only used the Apple scent so far, and it's a very nice and fresh scent. I think we'll try Watermelon next just to mix it up. Thanks Wen!
