WEN by Chaz Dean Bamboo Green Tea Cleansing Conditioner
OF ALL THE WEN CLENSING CONDITIONERS THIS IS THE BEST FOR MY HAIR AS WELL AS FOR MY DAUGHTER. BEEN USING WEN FOR ABOUT 5YRS NOW AND WE BOTH HAD SUFFERED FROM FALLING HAIR A LOT. HAVE TRIED ALMOST ALL THE SCENTS. I STICK WITH FIG FOR THE LONGEST TIME BECAUSE IT WAS MOISTURING OUR HAIR SO WELL, BUT JUST THE SAME WE WERE LOOSING SO MUCH HAIR( IT WAS DISTURDBING AND DEPRESSING)- HAD TO VACCUM THE FLOOR SO FREQUENTLY BECAUSE I CANT STAND SEING HAIRS ON THE FLOOR. AND FINALLY WE TRIED THIS BAMBOO GREEN TEA AND THE FALLING OF OUR HAIR HAD LESSENED A LOT TO ALMOST NORMAL. i WAS SO HAPPY , FELT LIKE i HIT THE JOCKPOT, HOWEVER THE SAD PART IS, IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MOST OF THE SCENTS.. BUT WHY? WEN PRODUCTS IS ALREADY EXPENSIVE TO START WITH BUT WHY WOULD CERTAIN SCENT BE MORE COSTLY THAN THE REST?
My Favorite Scent!
I have been using Wen for years now and this is the best scent on my hair! It's less frizzy and has more shine. Love it.
Bamboo for fine hair
I have fine naturally wavy hair, but I like to use a round brush to straighten it out. When I got it, it smelled so good like a spa. I am not sure why people don't like the smell but it smells so good. So I was kind of upset that it kept making my hair frizzy. I would use lavender, tea tree, 613, and bamboo green tea cleansing conditioner because I wanted all the things these have to offer. The volume and hair growth. But when I would blow dry it would get frizzy. I use 3 pumps of bamboo green tea and 613, 2 tea tree, and 2 pumps lavender for 1st wash. I use 8 pumps lavender and 2 tea tree for 2nd wash. 1/2 pump lavender cc,lavender mist,1 pump lavender styling cream and 6 pumps volumizing spray, 13 pumps of mouse. So I called the customer service and she told me to use one kind for 1st wash 12 pumps and 12 pumps of another for 2nd wash, 1 pump of cc, styling cream no volume spray, mousse, and before I blow dry use volume spray. Oh my gosh after months of trying to figure it out it worked. So now I don't just love the smell of bamboo green tea I love what it does for my fine hair.
While I thought this would be a nice fresh scent is everything but. It is strong and smells like chemicals. It does leave my sons hair very soft but I can't get over how terrible it smells. I should have sent it back!
First Wen that isn't working
I love Wen. I've tried almost all the formulations and they have all worked for me, some better than others. But not Bamboo Green Tea. I have fine hair so I thought it would be great, but no. My hair is limp, lifeless, and smells like hotel shampoo. There is just nothing I like about this one. I came online as fast as I could to get more sweet almond mint.
Best Wen I Have Tried
This cleansing conditioner has worked the best for my fine textured, color treated hair. I was concerned at first due to the thick consistency (tried 613 and this was too heavy for my hair type). Lavender left my hair very greasy. This formula is perfect! It smells amazing and my hair is like silk. Of note, none of these products worked on my hair type before I got a water softener.
Love Love Love
My hair feels and smells amazing. Great purchased!!
Absolutely Love It!!
Purchased my first bottle last month and am hooked. My hair is long and very fine. I was looking for a detangler but couldn't find anything, so bought this and am hooked! Spent a week at beach and used regular shampoo and conditioner, my hair was tangled and dry, could barely get a comb through. First Wen shampoo in a week and my hair feels so soft and looks so shiny!
YOUR NEXT WEN MODEL
This is my new favorite. Love the Pom but Bam has won me over. Since using when everyone including my beautician can see the difference in my hair. I use it, my mom, sister and now co-workers. If I can sell Wen at work like people sell Avon... OMG!!!!
Just wish there was a Spanish version of the instructional video so my beautician can watch it.
Please make the Mousse, styling gel, oils...everything you offer in the BamBoo Green Tea as well.
Yes! w a splash of no, lol
Love Wen....been using Lavender for so long, thought I'd try Bamboo Gr Tea....the scent is luscious...however, I'm also noticing a slight oily look to my part area.....after reading many reviews I will add a lil Lavender to it to see if I like the 2 combos together..
My hair is fine and I have a lot of it, shoulder length, but I must wash my hair daily...my 32 oz size doesn't seem to last long enough, but my 5 pumps total each time does the job:)
WEN BELIEVER-- What took me so long!
After years of watching WEN on infomercials and QVC, I gave the Bamboo Green Tea cleansing conditioner a try. I followed the directions and was stunned by the amazing results. My fine hair was soft, yet manageable; it looked remarkably different after one cleansing. Today I decided to wash my hair with the "other" products again. Big Mistake! My virgin grayish hair color seems harsher now, and the texture is very different, feels dry again... looks like the model's hair on QVC that washes half her head with WEN/other shampoo. I 'm more convinced than ever that WEN is really good for your hair. I have to use up the "other" organic stuff, so the process of alternating products for a while will be painful. I can't wait to say I'm a WEN user ALL THE TIME!
I have one negative comment concerning the pump operation. It is EXTREMELY difficult to unlock for use the first time. I gave 4 stars because the pump operation is fair at best. I think the pump fix should be more of a priority.
I like this product however takes a lot of pumps for one washing I have medium to long hair and have to rinse twice with it in order to get my hair throughly clean. After using it only a few times the bottle more then half empty also I find I have to switch in between
washings with another regular shampoo other wise my hair becomes to oily.Only real complaint I have is it is expensive and does not last long .
