WEN by Chaz Dean Bamboo Green Tea Cleansing Conditioner

Bamboo Green Tea is the only Wen that is rice based, and that does not bother my scalp after using it for a long time. Please put that info into your product listings!!! I am a senior, and I get compliments on my long hair all the time. The only criticism is the high price.
Love WEN, but not this one
I have used several 'flavors' of the WEN and love the product. But, this is one I will not reorder. It left my head itchy and irritated. I have fine, thin hair with oily roots and dry ends. My favorite is the Lavender formula.
I just tried the new bamboo and tea tree cleansing conditioner and love it . I have fine hair and it makes my hair feel fuller and I do not see any hair going down the drain any more. Thank you for this great product.
I do not have luck with any Wen product do far. The bamboo left my fine hair dirty looking and dull. There was also a tingling that remained on my head and back where the shampoo it that would not stop for hours after rewashing. I agree with previous reviewers that thought that there may be an ingredient in this formula that is not agreeable. I had the same reaction to the original almond formula but my hair was super shiny. The pomegranate made my hair look amazing, but after a couple of months, my hair started breaking off. I would see pieces of hair an inch long falling out. My hairdresser said not to use that formula because it sounded like it had protein in it which is not good for fine hair. I am now giving up on wen. My hair stopped breaking after going back to my normal shampoos. I use fekkai and peter thomas roth.
I love WEN
I have been using WEN for 3 month and the
Change in my hair is amazing. I started with
Fig. I love it but want to explore other scents.
Green Tea is my new favorite! Not only is the
Scent great but my hair is so shinny and soft!!
I love Wen, all but Bamboo Green Tea. I am highly sensitive to chemicals, there is something in this formula that is not right. Sending it back.
OF ALL THE WEN CLENSING CONDITIONERS THIS IS THE BEST FOR MY HAIR AS WELL AS FOR MY DAUGHTER. BEEN USING WEN FOR ABOUT 5YRS NOW AND WE BOTH HAD SUFFERED FROM FALLING HAIR A LOT. HAVE TRIED ALMOST ALL THE SCENTS. I STICK WITH FIG FOR THE LONGEST TIME BECAUSE IT WAS MOISTURING OUR HAIR SO WELL, BUT JUST THE SAME WE WERE LOOSING SO MUCH HAIR( IT WAS DISTURDBING AND DEPRESSING)- HAD TO VACCUM THE FLOOR SO FREQUENTLY BECAUSE I CANT STAND SEING HAIRS ON THE FLOOR. AND FINALLY WE TRIED THIS BAMBOO GREEN TEA AND THE FALLING OF OUR HAIR HAD LESSENED A LOT TO ALMOST NORMAL. i WAS SO HAPPY , FELT LIKE i HIT THE JOCKPOT, HOWEVER THE SAD PART IS, IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MOST OF THE SCENTS.. BUT WHY? WEN PRODUCTS IS ALREADY EXPENSIVE TO START WITH BUT WHY WOULD CERTAIN SCENT BE MORE COSTLY THAN THE REST?
My Favorite Scent!
I have been using Wen for years now and this is the best scent on my hair! It's less frizzy and has more shine. Love it.
Bamboo for fine hair
I have fine naturally wavy hair, but I like to use a round brush to straighten it out. When I got it, it smelled so good like a spa. I am not sure why people don't like the smell but it smells so good. So I was kind of upset that it kept making my hair frizzy. I would use lavender, tea tree, 613, and bamboo green tea cleansing conditioner because I wanted all the things these have to offer. The volume and hair growth. But when I would blow dry it would get frizzy. I use 3 pumps of bamboo green tea and 613, 2 tea tree, and 2 pumps lavender for 1st wash. I use 8 pumps lavender and 2 tea tree for 2nd wash. 1/2 pump lavender cc,lavender mist,1 pump lavender styling cream and 6 pumps volumizing spray, 13 pumps of mouse. So I called the customer service and she told me to use one kind for 1st wash 12 pumps and 12 pumps of another for 2nd wash, 1 pump of cc, styling cream no volume spray, mousse, and before I blow dry use volume spray. Oh my gosh after months of trying to figure it out it worked. So now I don't just love the smell of bamboo green tea I love what it does for my fine hair.
While I thought this would be a nice fresh scent is everything but. It is strong and smells like chemicals. It does leave my sons hair very soft but I can't get over how terrible it smells. I should have sent it back!
First Wen that isn't working
I love Wen. I've tried almost all the formulations and they have all worked for me, some better than others. But not Bamboo Green Tea. I have fine hair so I thought it would be great, but no. My hair is limp, lifeless, and smells like hotel shampoo. There is just nothing I like about this one. I came online as fast as I could to get more sweet almond mint.
Best Wen I Have Tried
This cleansing conditioner has worked the best for my fine textured, color treated hair. I was concerned at first due to the thick consistency (tried 613 and this was too heavy for my hair type). Lavender left my hair very greasy. This formula is perfect! It smells amazing and my hair is like silk. Of note, none of these products worked on my hair type before I got a water softener.
