The Vitamix has given everything promised in the demos and then some. The smoothies alone are amazing and I am getting more green veggies then ever before, and the "then some" is the increase across the board in my consumption of fruits/vegetables. It feels like my tastebuds have changed because after consuming whole food without added sugars, processed foods don't task good.

I bought the Nutribullet first thinking that it would be fantastic. It broke on the first day!!! I threw it away. I have been seeing infomercials and various demonstrations on the vitamix and since my experience with the latest and greatest Nutribullet I was very skeptic, but still needed a perfect smoothie blender and I saw it on QVC and took a chance. I tried it and it worked just as they said it would. This machine is a well worth it investment!!!! Love, Love, Love!!!!

How did I ever survive without it?! In the past, I was actually critical of my friends for paying that much for a blender. Well, now I see. I love it!
Rated 5 out of 5 by shoppergirl71 A kitchen must have!
I have had mine for about three years now. It is one of my favorite must haves next to my stand mixer and food processor. This blender is the best! It is SO worth the investment! I'm sad when I bought mine QVC didn't have the berry color. I bought it in espresso. Two of my favorites besides smoothies to make in it is cauliflower rice and hummus. It is a MUST have kitchen appliance!

I never really used blenders too much so I can't really compare it to "regular" superstore blenders. BUT I have been so happy with this and so glad I got it. I previously had a magic bullet premium (the one they now call nutribullet) and the little plastic gear that turns the blade broke after about a year. It couldn't be replaced and the company told me to just buy a the then new nutribullet. I didn't want another thing that would just break in a year so I bought a cheapie bullet knockoff and it was ok but so small. ANYWAY, I saw this on special and I knew about vitamix, but thought it was for "real" cooks and health food junkies. After the awesome demo I decided to get it and I am sooooo soooo sooo glad. I have used it so much. We buy frozen fruit and make sorbet without added sugars and my 14 year old can help himself. Tried the scrambled eggs (it cooks the eggs in the blender!) and it worked great, but my son couldn't tolerate the texture. It is more custardy that eggy and he just didn't like it, but others really do. Now that it's getting colder we are going to make hot soups right in there! Anyway the only negative thing I can say is that a few months later QVC had the one that I would say is the next level up (it has the dial with the variable speeds) for the same price I paid for this and that was a bummer, but you know that's what happens sometimes. Also, after I ordered it, but before it was delivered, I went to a national juicing place and when I noticed they use the vitamix, I knew I would never have to buy an overprice smoothy again! Love that it's a USA made product and that support is a phone call away.

I like it very well, but the main feature is that stuffer that you push everything down with. I don't know the actual name of the thing ,so I call it the stuffer. It really is powerful, but it cannot chop unless you use that stuffer. You also have to put in softer foods at the bottom. It is a substantial piece and very well made and very pretty. I use it for veggie smoothies and making soups.
Rated 4 out of 5 by starthome Works as well as advertised.
This blender works well. I often blend up ice or frozen fruit in smoothies and it completely blends the ice. I really like having the tamper to use to help when blending thick drinks such as smoothies. It is easy to clean by blending with hot soapy water per instructions.I have never used a Vitamix with more speeds, so maybe I don't know what I'm missing, but using the two speed doesn't seem to be a problem. I can adjust how blended something is by length of time or number of pulses. The reason I did not give this five stars is because I sent an email question to Vitamix twice, on their website, and never got a response.

I didn't realize this was a low end model when I purchased it. It works OK but does not do all the things that were shown during the TV presentation as well as they made it look. An OK product but I will probably sell or give this one away and upgrade to a higher model straight from the manufacturer instead of this made for QVC edition.
