Vitamix 7500 - Awesome!!!
I just bought the Vitamix 7500 for my hubby's bday & for our family... one of the BEST investments I've ever purchased!!! I've never really been into smoothis & juicing too much... but it was also because a regular blender doesn't work even close to how the Vitamix works!! It litterally gets rid of all the peices, unless you desire them, and makes a super smoothe drink! It's so easy to clean & the 7500 is pretty dang quiet, considering it's power!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am extremely happy with this vitamix.
Use this daily for breakfast...both using the recipes and doing my own thing. I refer to the booklet which tells me which speed to use and the outcomes are simply the best. Wow I canfreeze bananas and fruit to have on hand. The best purchase I have made in a long time. Would be a perfect wedding gift as I notice the younger generation (I am around) seem to be eating healthier. The 5 star reviews sum it all up....

a blender is a blender
It's o.k. but not what I was expecting. It doesn't really heat soup unless you leave it for at least 10 minutes and at that point everything is mush, which is fine if you want a cream soup. You have to start with hot soup if you want hot soup and it will keep it's temp which is nice. The jar is so big it is not practical for making a breakfast shake for one. I'm still not sure if I will keep it. It is quiet; that is nice. It is hard to remove all the contents, food is wasted. There are huge ribs in the jar and even with a little spatula scraper it is hard to get the jar cleaned out. I like putting a few drops of dish liquid in it and whirring it to clean the jar. I've gone back to my awesome little stick blender and the cup I used to make my shake previously. The books are not practical unless you like to drink cocktails. I've seen other Vitamix kits that were really nice, but this is not. The little jars that are included are a cute little gimmick but...not anything I would say is practical.

This machine has changed my life
I know that sounds dramatic but its true. My breakfast every morning consists of 5 fruits and veggies, 1/2 cup of greek yogurt and a splash of almond milk. . I toss in a teaspoon or two of wheat germ, flax seed, oatmeal...whatever.. to bulk it up a bit and get some vitamins. I put EVERYTHING in. Who knew a few grape tomatoes went so well with bananas and mango? A couple tablespoons of pumpkin puree tastes great with the yogurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Kale or mixed salad greens with blueberries and kiwi!! I am having a ball and love it all. If it need a bit of sweet I add a drop or two of honey, but if the fruit is dead ripe this is hardly ever a problem. After my smoothie I am so full and know I have a great start and it is actually an incentive to eat healthier for the REST of the day. The machine is awesome to create salsa, creamed soups, adult and kids icy drinks and milk shakes. I find myself looking for ways to utilize the machine.

One year ago I decided a green smoothie diet was for me. I did not want to invest the money in a Vitamix just in case I couldn't stick with this type of eating, so I spent $100 on a Ninja 1000. While it was a decent blender it had a lot of flaws. If I blended my smoothie for more than one minute, it was somewhat smooth but still had chunks in it. My girlfriend bought a refurb Vitamix and told me I had to get one. When I saw the deal and 5 easy payments I did it. When I received the blender I was impressed, but when I made my first smoothie, I was totally blown away. To me it was the best investment that I could have made. Smoothies are the way I eat, and my Vitamix makes them exactly that - smooth!

Just received my new vitamix and decided to clean it.. WOW!! I thought it was going to explode!! If this is 40% quieter, I wouldn't want to hear the one before this one. Haven't made anything yet, kind of nervous about this. If I decide to try this machine, I will repost. I might have to return this one..

Even Better Than Expected
I've only had this blender for a week but so far I am totally thrilled. I was a little hesitant about purchasing the vitamix because it is a bit pricey but because of QVC easy pay it was a no brainer. I quit smoking about a year ago & big surprise I gained 40 lbs. When I thought about the cost of Nutri-System for 2 or 3 months it made more sense to spend the money on the Vitamix & start learning how to create my own healthy way of eating which I can use for a life time. I've already lost 6 lbs and I'm not starving myself. I make delicious fruit smoothies & add kale, spinach, avacado & protein powder. The vitamix pulverizes the kale & spinach so you don't even know they are in there. If you hate eating your vegetables then this is the perfect way to get them in your diet. I've also made my own hummus which is so delicious I would never eat store bought again. It's a great healthy snack with celery sticks. You can use the recipes that come with the vitamix or you can just go on line or even use your own favorite recipes. I am going to try making frozen yogurt this weekend. I did a lot of research comparing the vitamix with the blendtec & I am confident I made the right choice purchasing the vitamix. I am also one of those people that doesn't like things sitting out on my counter but I've made an exception for my vitamix because I love using it so much I want it handy & ready to go at all times. It doesn't fit under my cabinets with the container sitting on the base so I just sit the container next to the base which is fine with me. My husband still can't believe that I have this appliance sitting on the counter when I won't even let him leave his keys on the counter. The Vitamix is so powerful & well made I think it will probably out live me.

GET THIS MODEL IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING A VITAMIX
I have purchased four Vitamix machines...yes four. Let me explain, lest you think they do not hold up. Three were given as gifts. This 7500 model is my absolute favorite of all the ones I've purchased. I really like the re-design of the 64oz container; its wider base makes blending a full container of fruit and/or veggies much easier. The contents of the squat container with the wider bottom circulate even easier than in the standard 64oz container. While I believe the machine is still noisy, it is less so than previous models and the container does not vibrate under a full load. Every Vitamix is superb; however, to me, this one has some distinct advantages.

You've changed my life
Vitamix - Thank you is just not enough to express how wonderfully you have changed my life. I constantly struggle with weight and because of you (no joke) I am eating healthy, saving money, and losing weight. I have been able to create excellent tasting, low sodium, chock full of fresh vegetable-fruit combinations - for soups, drinks, deserts. I have been able to easily cut nuts and grains to incorporate them in my creations. One of my secrets for my 'cream' soups is to take a couple of potatoes baked or microwaved and put them whole in the vitamix, add a little chicken stock and water and wiz together - makes a fabulous creamy-thickening base for my soups without adding fat or sodium. You have added years to my life. Goodbye fast food!.

Just the greatest!
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she uses it 3 to 5 times daily and loves, loves, loves it! It was worth the money to give a gift that will hopefully last a lifetime and help her eat healthy!!
