Vionic w/ Orthaheel Sara Orthotic Shoes with Addl Insert
If you are on your feet all day you need this shoe
I read some reviews about the stiching bothering people on the top of the foot. If you have a higher than normal instep this shoe is not for you. I wear them every day at work. I am a banker and I am always on my feet. I also have Parkinsons and my feet are tender and I trip often. These shoes hold my feet straight and I seem to have less issues with walking. Would Like to see them in more colors and finishes.
KIND TO YOUR ARCHES
OMG, THESE SHOES ARE A DREAM TO WEAR!! THE COMFORT GOES BEYOND ANYTHING YOU HAVE IN YOUR CLOSET. NOT ONLY ARE THEY COMFORTABLE, THEIR ARE STYLISH. WITH THESE SHOES THEY INCLUDE EXTRA ARCHES!!! GET ON BOARD GIRLS AND TRY THEM.
I have found that with Orthaheel inserts that my knees/hips/back do not hurt like they used to. Thank you so much for the extra inserts, going in my tennis shoes.
How many ways do I love thee.....
Sorry, couldn't resist! This shoe rocks!! I have hard to fit feet, and finally a shoe that fits, helps my plantar faciatis, goes with everything...AND I was able to get it in blue! AND, lets not forget, you receive an extra set of orthotics with it....I put mine in my work out shoes, and after just 2 wears...boy, do I feel a difference! Fantastic shoe...don't think twice, just buy it!
Fabulous orthotics, pretty shoes, less than $400 ?
Oh my goodness. I have never had orthotics this comfortable. As a child Mother took me to the Dr Scholl's suites and had insoles made from molds of my feet. Of course, at that time the shoes shouted "Orthopedic Shoes Here!" and the kids ridiculed me. As an adult, I damaged my feet wearing the cheap shoes I could fit into the budget (the kids always come first don't they?). Once I could afford them I bought nothing but Birkenstocks. The old custom Scholls stores and cobblers shops are a thing of the past now. I love my Birkenstocks and will never give them up but Vionic orthotics are far superior even to my Birks. The arch maintains support where Birks adjust over time to your foot and your stance. If you pronate, the Birk insole will eventually give way, and you lose the benefit of that part of the original form. Until recently Birks insoles were all leather lined, fabulous but not quite as great a cushion as Vionics offer. And these shoes seem to be cushioned on all fronts, even the tops and straps.
I think some people just need to complain about something and use this forum to do it, whether the criticism is deserved or not. If you've never worn an orthotic they won't be comfortable until You adjust to the feel. But ask your knees and back if they're happier. I love the demonstrations of the correction of the alignment of toes, ankles, shins and knees the representatives show us. Each time the model's foot is allowed to collapse to the flat floor you can almost hear her poor feet and ankles moan in agony. It is clear to everyone just how much damage can be done by robbing yourself of proper support. As we age the inflammation , swelling and deformity of arthritis has a ready-made home in the misaligned, practically dislocated position we put ourselves in by deforming our feet to meet the concrete.
These shoes are pretty!, not like the Frankenstein shoes I used to have to wear. AND they cost a fraction of what my mother paid for the ones custom made for my tiny little feet. I feel blessed all the way around. I wish everyone could see clearly what a gift these shoes are, how much damage they can ward off, and appreciate the minuscule price they are being asked to pay for them.
Thanks to QVC for having this vendor teach us without being flitty or condescending.. Thanks to the QVC viewers for asking for more and varied models of this fabulous shoe. I'll be carefully choosing my next pair(s). Maybe they'll make an insert that will fit over and adjust to the Birkenstodck footbed while maintaining the proper alignment of heels and toes they provide. ( I even wore Birkenstock combat boots, dress flats, hiking boots and track shoes. for PT) Perhaps?
I first ordered the insert and loved them. Got rid of back problem. It was a less expensive way to try the product. These shoes were on easy pay and made them affordable. I ordered the blue in 81/2 my regular shoe size and they fit perfect. I love orthaheel!!!!!!
I have had plantar fascitis and heel spurs and had surgery for those problems. I could not find a comfortable shoe until now. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They have a slight arch support and my feet never hurt even after a 9 hour day at work. Need more colors and styles with this shoe. Once you try them you will never want any other kind of shoe.
These shoes are well made. The insole has amazing support. The toe box has room and is very comfy. Great shoes!!!
Very Comfortable Shoe
This is my 3rd pair of Orthaheel shoes. The first was a pair of sandals, the second was a pair of house slippers and now these Mary Jane style shoes. I wore them for an entire day and they were comfortable and my feet did not hurt although I was on them for several hours. I like to wear Orthaheels because they correct the over pronation of my right foot. The shoes are so cute and I received several compliments on them. I would recommend these to anyone who is flat footed, has bunions or over pronation issues. I am very pleased with these shoes.
Love the shoe, but ...
I love everything about the shoe, including the extra insert for support, but if you have to tighten the strap, it drags the ground; the strap needs to be shortened for adjustability. I am keeping it, and hoping for the best on the strap.
Doesn't quite work
The insert is extremely hard and it's way too high for these shoes. My toes rub on the outside and a little on the inside with my big toe. Vionic missed the mark on this shoe. I have the tennis shoes and sandles and they are great.
Great for a High Arch
I need the arch support provided by this shoe, so I'll keep them. I also like the wide toe bed especially for upcoming sock weather.
I received the wine, which is not a great color, it looks like dull clay.
