I love Vionic. And I love animal print...which is why I bought these. When I first put them on, they has an odd cut to them but since they were comfy I overlooked it. Then one day in a yoga class I looked at my feet and there were black spots on them. When I looked at the flip flops the animal print design had rubbed off! I've only had them a week or two!! They now look very old and worn. For the price you pay for Vionics you would expect a better quality. It's very disappointing and a waste of $40!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Workingtoshop Different than the wave style
Like a traditional rubber flip flop but with more support..but not like the original style that has way more support. I like these for water areas as they stay on better and my feet do not slide around. Great for pool and beach but not made for walking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lynnea took a little getting used to
I have a pair of Spenco flipflops that I love, but need something for an upcoming beach vacation that I can get wet and Spenco Yumi are leather and fabric. I have never worn any Vionic shoes, but thought I'd give these a try. The price is a little much for a pair of rubber flips, but I cannot wear cheap ones becasue I have to put orthotic insoles in all my shoes except Spenco or Taos. I have tried wearing cheap flips and end up in so much foot pain that it isn't worth it. When I first put these on an wore them around the house, I thought they were too stiff and the arch totally in the wrong place, but after wearing them awhile off and on for a few days, I got used to the feel of them. They are very much an orthotic flipflop -- I could never imagine that there would be such a thing since the closest I've ever come to being able to wear a "beach" shoe was Crocs.
I do recommend these flipflops to people who have foot problems, but give yourself time to get used to them. The arch is much more pronounced and defined than in my Spenco Yumi or Siesta slide, but I think these will be perfect for the beach and wearing around in sandy beach areas.
Also, I wear 8.5 shoes and bought these in size 8. I think I should have got size 9 as they recommend on the presentation. If I slide my foot back just a bit the arch is in a better place. The next size probably would have been better but I don't want to go through the hassle of returning and exchanging in case they wouldn't come in time for our vacation.
The 4 stars instead of 5 is for the price. I really don't think rubber flips should cost $40.

These are the most comfortable flip flops ever. The arch support is excellent. Thank you Vionic for making flip flops.

I have been a vionic customer for a while now and i love their sandals & their slippers but this flip flops are not at all the quality of their other shoes, i have problems with my fascia & vionic shoes are great, my feet dont hurt like they used too before i started using vionic but these flip flops dont compare to the others, im sorry to say that these are going back.
