Almost There: If Only a Little Deeper
Am a VB fan; own many VB purses of every type. Of course LOVE the Midnight Blues print - stunning! And I really love the direction of the design of the Whitney Bag. Super to have the three sections. I, personally, love the length of the straps (not too long and not too short). Love the outside pocket. Love the east-west feel and having that length for longer items in my purse. Main problem, for me, is it is just a few inches too 'short' or not deep enough. I like that this is a smaller purse but it could handle larger things (like a tablet) if it were simply a few inches taller. The entire design wouldn't need to be enlarged so that it turns into a huge tote. And I do agree with some other reviewers that it would be nice to have a little more structure in this bag. I don't have any other VB bag that just crumples down like this. It is sloppy looking and makes it difficult to retrieve items out of. Thanks for the chance for my feedback.

Needs a Base - Love the Patterns
I like the organization of this bag. I just wished it had a base so that the bag does not topple over when I place it down. This occurs when I have items in the two outside pockets. Other than that I like the bag. I purchased one in each pattern and am delighted with all of them. The two outside pockets are not deep which is okay with me as I don't like searching for items. I just like to grab my things and go. The strap length is also comfortable for my medium frame and height 5'6".

Conflicted.
I think the Midnight Blues fabric and Ribbons fabric are absolutely beautiful. And the 3 separate compartments in the bag, the finishing, the quality of the construction is really nice. But... It's the price... That's a lot of money to spend for a small fabric handbag. I thought it would be bigger. I generally like small to medium bags, so the size I could have handled if it were cheaper. I sadly returned mine because I couldn't justify the expense for such a small bag. But if money is no object and you like a smaller more organized bag, this is a well made pretty option.

Absolutely love!
This is probably my favorite style purse. It's not too deep so everything doesn't get lost in a "black hole". And the print is fabulous. This is my first Vera Bradley and it certainly won't be my last.

First Vera
The quality is not there. To pay $80 (s&h, tax) not worth it for a small cloth bag. Feel it will not last. Back it goes.

It Was Okay...flimsy!
I really really wanted this bag to work. I thought it would be a great bag to own but instead it goes back in the closet. It is very flimsy and the bottom hasn't really 'laid flat'. Wish it was better!!! Love the little hipster which is what I have been carrying lately.

A bit disappointed
I received this bag and must admit I was a bit disappointed with it. I thought the middle pocket was fine, but the two side pockets are smaller. It seems that it is a bit flimsy as well which is not usually the case with Vera Bagley bags, particularly since the price was very high. I am just not sure yet if I will just keep it or send it back. Not the best VB bag I have for sure.

Much Smaller
This bag is much smaller than it looks. The center zip pocket is set down at least three inches from the side pockets. The side pockets are only half the depth of the bag. The shoulder straps could have been two inches longer as well. The colors are vivid and the pattern in Midnight Blues is beautiful. I can't figure out why the price is so high, being that the TSV travel bag was so hugh (21x15x8) for the same price. The value just didn't make sense. It size didn't work for me. Returned in new condition.
