My 17" laptop did not fit :-(
I have a17" Dell laptop and was so excited to get this larger bag except that I couldn't get my laptop in it. According to the measurements in the description it should have fit just fine. Unfortunately I have to send this back which I dread. Reading the other reviews, I am not the only one that found this bag too small.
Can this information be passed on to V.B. to look into this bag's measurements and hopefully up the size by a few inches? I would love a Vera to tote my laptop.

Laptop won't fit!
This bag was purchased to use for work as I take my laptop with me.
I received the bag and my laptop wouldn't fit. I was so disappointed.
The bag itself is beautiful and has nice padding to surround the space
in which the laptop would go. I recommend it otherwise.
Maybe I just got one that was ill-made. I have other Vera bags
and have absolutely no complaints. Beautiful colors on the bag.

I saw a Vera Bradley tote on "The Good Wife"!
The quirky slightly wacky very smart lawyer had this---looked great on a professional woman! I love mine! I love all my Vera Bradley bags!

Love Love Love
I love this bag. It is so practical for me. It fits my larger screen computer and power pack, my planner, and plenty of room for some accessories. In addition it has zipper pocket for usb's, air card, and ID, slip pocket for my phone for quick reach. If your carrying your computer you NEED it all!.... And better yet... It's light weight...and made for a girl.
Alerts to mom's with girls in school and hubby's looking to please. It s a winner

Beautiful and nice quality
This bag is very nice, though I wish there were more pockets, inside and out.
Inside the bag, one wall has 3 open pockets--2 are narrow and deep, suitable for pens or eyeglasses. The other wall has nothing, a wasted opportunity for more organization. For the price I expected a little more.
I like that the padded laptop sleeve acts as a separator, dividing the inside of the bag.
To help a previous reviewer, this bag is machine washable (line dry). The inserts are PVC and do not need to be removed, I'm happy for this improvement!

Very classy
I was able to slide my laptop and KindleFire (large) in to this tote as well as a 8 1/2X11 notebook to go to a meeting without having to pull around the briefcase.

wow
just received my laptopbag on monday feel in love with the new pattern,but very disa ppointend with my bag for the money i paid my laptop that is a 17" .3 inch didnt in fit all vera bradley this was very misleading they need check the sizes ,i had gaven it to my neice she has a smaller labtop was execited for the bag please try to make them a little more wider please

This is another addition to my Vera Bradley bag collection. This good bag to carry my laptop. It would be nice if there was a zipper on the top. I can use this bag for work to carry my laptop & a few files.

My Very First Vera Bradley Bag
I ordered the Plum Crazy, it is so beautiful, I carry a 15" laptop and it fits great with all the other stuff that I need to carry. Well made and high quality fabric. The inside is as gorgeous as the outside. Love it!!!!

Nice laptop bag
I bought the jazzy version of this and the print is really pretty. I had been using another Vera bag as a "makeshift" laptop tote, so I was excited when I saw this presented and ordered it right away.
The laptop piece does have a velcro fastener, so I feel like it will hold mine securely in place as I go to and from work, but I agree that a zipper would have been nice.
thanks for making the straps long enough to go over a coat and the bag holds plenty along with my laptop. This is a very nice addition to the line.

Very nice tote but needs some improvements
I purchased this for my daughter who is in medical school. She can tote her IPad or Laptop and any other essential she'll need in the hospital for the day. I purchased the Plum Crazy pattern, which I love. I hope they make that pattern available in the regular tote bag. This bag is nice and will hold a lot, but I wish the inside laptop part snapped in and out and was removable if you just wanted a large bag. I also can't figure out how to remove the cardboard bottom if I wanted to wash this. I'm wondering if this bag could even be washed. Other than those 2 wish items, it's a perfect size for work or school.

Plum Gorgeous!
There's nothing like a new VB to make my day! This bag is NICE! The straps are long enough for me use, while wearing a coat (a big plus!) There are some edits I would make to it for future iterations (like a zipper to the top of the laptop sleeve and/or the top of the bag itself and 3 more interior pockts, but otherwise I really like the new siilhouette and hope to get a lot of use out of this as I commute with my 15" laptop daily. Very, very pretty. And did I mention I LOVE this new pattern? Easy Pay,made this bag hard to resist. I'm so happy to add it to my ever growing collection.
