A203968 - Two Pairs of Sweater Knit "Earbags" Bandless Earmuffs
Good for not-so-cold days
I was really excited about these ear muffs when I saw them on QVC. I walk my dog at 6:15 am before work and hats, head bands and regular ear muffs smash my hair down.
I think the bandless ear muffs work OK but they are not nearly as warm as the traditional type. Depending on the size of my ear rings they may or may not fit. i cant wear big dangle style with these. I can wear them over my ear buds. So for the days when it's not to cold and windy I've been wearing them. I ordered a woman's regular size but wonder if perhaps a large would be better for all the large earrings I wear.
Great ear warmers!
These make my friends laugh - but they are great! Keep my ears warm and yet you can hear very well, which makes them safe for walking. With most earmuffs, I can't really hear well if I'm out walking and there is any traffic. But these are light weight, but very warm. I love them. And you can hardly even see them if you have medium to long hair. They would show with short hair - but they are so cute and unique. I love them!!
Unfortunately I bought the wrong size ( medium ) and they pinch my ear lobes! I'll share these with my Colorado friend who loves to ski:) Too bad size Large is sold out in all the colors:( I'll definitely reorder when they're back in stock:)
Really wanted to keep them....
But I have 3 piercings in each ear and my cartilage pierced on one side... and these kill!! :o( I don't want to have to take my earrings out each time I use these. If I just had 1 or even 2 holes I think they'd be great actually. Just putting it out there.
With short hair these are a must
I was worried from the reviews that these would not fit my small ears. No problem, they are very secure and don't fall off. I wore them around the house and talked on the phone. Worked great. When I took them off I could feel the temperature differential. Giving one pair to my friend who trains horses. They should help keep her warm this winter. Love them!
I've had Ear Bags for about 5 years and I keep a pair in every winter jacket/coat that I own. I love that I can keep my ears warm and keep wind from giving me an ear ache without smashing my hair. This year for Christmas, I am giving all my friends a pair because they have seen mine and heard how much I like them. (ooooops, hope they don't read this review before Christmas, or the surprise is over! lol)
Pefect for morning walks
I've had the fleece style Earbags for years and tried these out for a change. Love them. Just as warm but a little more stylish. They are just a tad thicker than the regular ones but that doesn't bother me. I love that I don't have an itchy hat on but my ears are warm...I've very sensitive on my skin to hats and scarves. But the Earbags don't irritate me at all, and that's the place I need coverage the most. Great product, plus I'm Swedish and since these were designed there I think they're even more awesome!
Could Be Great!!
If you have humungo ears then these will stay on! They need to have a small size available!!
Beware Smaller Ears- Bring Size Small Please!
As soon as I saw the Earbags, I knew I wanted to try them. I ordered them in the grey/ black option and I love how streamline and unnoticeable they are. It’s great that you can also wear them with a hat if you like. I like the Thinsulate and fleece combo in these; it keeps your ears toasty and warm. But although I love them, I am concerned because they are too big (I order the medium) and they easily fall off my ears. The barrette mechanism makes them easy to take on and off, but they are so big that the wind blows them off outside! Also, this allows wind to blow inside of the Earbag when they are on, and your ears get cold. I am so disappointed because the concept is great and I want to order more! At the manufacturer’s website, a size small is available, but I'd prefer to buy them from QVC. Please bring more Earbags in size small please!! And I would love to see more colors and patterns for adults and children!
My ears are always cold, even with a hat on. I don't like earmuffs that have a band or metal wire. So, I was changing channels one night and saw the earbags advertised on QVC. I figured they weren't too expensive & would give them a try.
These earbags are wonderful. I wore them in NYC on a windy 28 degree night, (and the only part of me that was cold was my face). They fit flat to the head & barely show underneath my hair. And they also fit under a hat.
Great for jogging!
I recently started running and my preference is to run outdoors. Winters in the Midwest aren't known for being particularly mild so I knew I would need some ear protection. I got these because they're light and easy to carry around and less bulky than conventional earmuffs. I can use them running and they easily snap on even when I'm wearing my ear buds. I also have no problem wearing sunglasses with them. They stay on really well and they're really comfortable. Plus, the little bag is helpful to keep them from getting lost. I toss the bag in my purse and I'm ready whether I'm out for a run or just out for a walk on a blustery day. I'm glad you get 2 pairs of these because my 3 year old son co-opted one pair and wears them all the time too. I highly recommend them!
Perfect ear warmers!
I love these bandless earmuffs! They are so comfortable and keep my ears warm and protected from the cold Iowa winter winds and cold. It took me a little bit to get the hang of securing them on my ears, but once I got it......EASY! My daughter was here when I opened my QVC package and was very skeptical when she saw me pull these out. I gave her one to try and she loved them too. We both use them for walking and running, and just for toodling around town. They are nearly invisible behind our hair, and these are the FIRST earmuff-type cover-ups that I actually can wear and not look silly in. Tried those ones that secure behind the head, go over the head, etc. but had no luck....I have thick hair. For those of you who've tried them and could not figure out how to secure them: Make them into an inverted V (horizontally), and from top to bottom of ear scoop your ear into it, then push so the V pops into a neutral position. You should feel a tightening if it's on the ear securely. Do not wear dangle earrings with this as they don't secure as securely with them on. Getting a second set for my other 2 daughters.
