Lots of room
I LOVE this purse. I like purses with lots of pockets. most will have little pockets which does no good. This purse has room for everything-like all the stuff husbands and kids make you carry along with your stuff. Best things-does not look or feel big. I tend to find a purse and want that purse forever and will buy different colors. Please keep this style around and just add colors. My absolute favorite purse!

Perfect!
This is my 5th Travelon purchase, but my first messenger bag. It will be perfect for our upcoming trip and has lots of room for all the stuff needed when traveling and will keep it organized. the only thing I wish it had was the anti-theft strap that my Travelon purse has. Purchased the olive/red combination so if I hand it to my 21 year old son to keep track of he won't think it's too feminine for him to hold. Hope it comes back in the black/turquoise combination and I will buy that one, too.

Hip Hip Hurrah!
This is just the best bag ever, plain and simple. I have never owned a cross body before, but if this the standard then I am sold!!! This bag is roomy, well made and good looking. The purple is so great, and because I am of the opinion that if one is good, two must be better, I am going back for another!

Ahhhh! Someone gets it.
I became aware of Travelon, when I was standing in line at the deli in my local grocery store, I noticed the woman's purse standing behind me. I very extrovertedly asked her, "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT PURSE?" She told me Travelon at QVC (which I had never heard of either) and also proceeded to tell me Travelon made different styles. The bag she was carrying was actually smaller than this one, with the cell phone compartment mounted more on the strap, which I have seen here, but after looking at all the designs, assessing my needs, and lifestyle I settled on this purse, as my trial purse.
I received this bag yesterday and am pleasantly surprised with it, Prior to this, I had a Coach bag, that I was using everyday, which was "stylish" enough I guess, but finding anything in it was like staring down into the abyss. Prior to that I was using backpacks made of similar material as this bag, with only some of the organizational features. Half the time, when I carried either of the aforementioned, I thought I must have forgotten something, when I went to look for it, only to find out later, it was in the bag the whole time. The Coach bag was also heavy to lug around. The nylon backpack always had hardware breaking that isn't easily fixed, thereby making the whole bag useless, even if it is in good shape. I only share, my experiences about these other bags, should someone out there have the same issues they want remedied.
The stores these days from the department stores to the outlet stores had nothing that pleased me, no matter what the price. They were cute enough, but pretty useless. I am also not much of a shopper, just for the fun of shopping, so if they're out there, I'm clueless, as to who has my dream purse.
Since I don't like to change bags all the time, I want something that will go anywhere. I also have to carry a bunch of cards for this and that, which also entailed needing a large wallet. Even though I don't need all the cards all of the time, sure as heck, when I didn't have all the cards with me, I'd need one I left home. This bag can get rid of the wallet, for the most part, and if you still want to carry it, there is ample room. Okay, maybe I couldn't take it to a black tie ball, but knowing me, I would take it and lock it in the trunk of the car, just in case I needed something that wouldn't fit in cocktail bag.
Everything from the old purse fit into this one, no problem, but because of the organizational design, I can lose a lot of that stuff, except maybe when I am traveling, but I could just throw those things and the wallet in a travel bag too in order to have them once I get to where I am going, should the occassion arise I really do need them.
This bag is much lighter than the Coach. The dandy little organizational pockets puts my cell phone where I want it, my glasses and keys where I can find them, and my most often used credit cards and ID within easy reach. It really has a lot of card slots in the back compartment. I am now fantasizing about how easy it will be to go through security next week when I travel!!!!!!!! Heh. What can I say? These strange times give us all new perspective of what makes us happy, am I not right?
The strap being versatile to either be shoulder or crossbody is also a nice feature. How high or low you want to go in either position is up to each individual, due to the length and design of the adjustable strap. I prefer the crossbody because both of my hands are freed up, the weight is evenly distributed, and I don't get chastised by little old ladies in the grocery store for leaving my bag in the cart.
The construction looks pretty sound, the zippers and material of good quality. The lining looks nicely sewn and doesn't look like its going to stretch out of shape. I opted for the camel/blue since we are going into spring. I always tend to pick black, so it won't show dirt, but I think this tan is dark enough not to be too prissy.
I could say more, but I got a D in typing (although I got an A in calculas) and hate writing reviews. Just trust me, if I took the time and energy to praise a product, it had to far surpass my expectaion. Obviously, I am emotionally uplifted, that such a bag actually does exist. :)
In conclusion, This bag is for the practical gal, but not frumpy.

Great bag!
I have been using this bag for about a week and I am very pleased! I am using it as an everyday bag for work, which works great for me. There is room for everything, my wallet, work ID, my kindle and anything else I choose to carry. I like how deep the pockets are so everything is secure.I have bought travelon bags in the past, but I feel this one is probably the best one I have purchased.

Outstanding for travel
It is great for iPad and the numerous pockets help organize all of my travel items, such as sun glasses, credit cards and makeup. The shoulder strap keeps it secure and handy.

Love this bag!
Wonderful bag...my mother and I both love it...it is roomy and functional yet cool looking at the same time. Love that it is so lightweight and the strap is very long...such a problem for me to find a cross body messenger style bag with a long enough strap. Have it in black/teal but will definitely purchase it in other colors. Really pleased!

JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
RECIEVED MY NEW TRAVELON BAG YESTERDAY. COULD NOT WAIT TO GET HOME TO TRY IT OUT! WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. THIS IS A BAG FOR ALL OF US THAT LOVE CROSSBODIES BUT ARE FRUSTRATED THAT MOST OF THEM ARE WAY TO SMALL TO HOLD WHAT ME NEED. IT IS A LARGER BAG BUT NOT TO BIG. COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED. I GOT THE EGGPLANT COLOR. IT BRIGHT LIGHT IS APPEARS QUITE PURPLE(NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT, RIGHT PURPLE LADYS) BUT IN LESSER LIGHT, IT IS JUST A DARK NEUTRAL. LOVE IT. I SOMETIMES HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BUILT IN WALLETS BECAUSE THERE IS NO PLACE FOR COIN CHANGE. ON THIS BAG, I JUST USE ONE OF THE FRONT ZIP POCKETS.. WORKS GREAT FOR ME.

Fantastic Purse
I just reeceived my bag and love it. The straps are nice and long for crossbody. We are leaving on a long trip Friday and I can't wait to fill it with everything I'll need for our long flight. It will hold everything and looks sharp. I will use it for years to come. Thank you Travelon!

Great bag and large size
Previously had a smaller Travelon bag and LOVED it. Because of an upcoming trip, I wanted to reorder my previous bag, but it had been discontinued. So decided to try this new style and love the space it contains. Great for a trip.
