Rated 3 out of 5 by REALLY HEAVY I am not a cook and I have a small kitchen, but I needed a pot that was 5/6 quarts in order to bring something in a bag to a rapid boil and I only had an old sauce pan. So I invested in this enamel sauce pot. It is a good looking pot that I keep on my cook top and as pots go, there is nothings wrong with it, if you don't mind lifting something extra heavy. Yes, it is porcelain and porcelain tends to be heavy, but if it were stainless steel, it would have done the same trick, with less effort every time I went to empty it. Next time I will opt for the pot that shows least resistance to carrying from one place to another. 03-05-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by All around good product I received this as a gift and am very happy. The handles are comfortable; the pot is not too heavy, and so far the food I cooked came out just fine, and clean-up was easy. Plus it is a nice looking pot. Tramontina is an American company that makes some of their products in the United States, with others made in Italy and Brazil. I try to buy American when I can and have some of their American made pots and they're great. This pot was made in Italy, and is really worth the price! 12-01-14
