I've used these knives for over 2 months now, and they are still sharp as the day I bought them! I was skeptical at first, due to the blades being serrated edged. But after I realised how sharp they were, I decided to keep them! What I like most about these steak knives is how they are made. The tang of the blades run all the way back through the handles(one piece). So you don't have to worry about the handles falling off or coming loose. The handles are a type of nylon molded around 6 rivets. Which makes for a stable blade when used. They actually look and feel like wood, but they aren't. I know $20 a knife isn't cheap, but you definately get what you pay for when it comes to Tramontina quality! Just make sure you clean them right after use. "Don't leave them soaking in the sink". The high carbon is of excellent quality!
