Rated 5 out of 5 by from Traeger is awesome We used our Traeger for the first time last week and it's simply amazing. We smoked ribs using the hickory chips. Best ribs I've tasted ever! We have another smoker that was okay but it's got nothing on this one. It's worth every penny!! We bought throw away cups for the grease bucket to keep things clean. You can also buy liners for the drip pan (we used aluminum foil) but can be a bit pricey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best smoker/grill I have been grilling and smoking meat for years. In most recent years I have solely used natural charcoal (I haven't use gas in over 10 years), but maintaining the right temperature has always been time consuming and difficult. Just got my Trager and I am 4 hours into and 8 hour smoking 2 racks of ribs. It much easier to cook with my Traeger and so far the quality is just as good as when I slaved hour my old smoker for hours. The Traegar was also very easy to assemble.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from SAD I give it one star for this reason. received only to find that the hot rod is broken , wonder if it was repacked and sent to me from someone else , called Traeger and was told about 2 weeks before I can get part or buy one from grill places that carry them . My son has been deployed coming home for a month before leaving again ,was going to surprise him , but I got surprised with getting a broken hot rod .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappoionted I received this grill four days after the EDD so I was not happy anyway. The grill was simpler to assemble than I thought it would be. We read all the instructions for start up and it didn't work. After calling the 800 number and spending 1 hour on the telephone with them, we now have to wait at least 10 days for them to send 2 parts and go to youtube to watch a video on how to repair the brand new out of the box grill. My husband is 72 and can barely use his smart phone so this method is not going to go well. My first and last QVC order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed! I watched this grill for 2 or 3 years before I finally got one. So glad I did. My sister and I put it together, and it was not hard and did not take long. The pre-use seasoning of the grill was easy. Customer service is great if you have questions. The great thing about this item is that it works as a grill, a smoker and a convection oven. Anything you cook in your oven, you can cook on this grill. The wood pellets are fairly readily available. I can get them locally at the grocery or Costco (best price). So far, I have cooked cheeseburgers, baked potatoes, grilled shrimp & veggies, peaches, pork butt for pulled pork, corn on the cob, steaks, zucchini bread, Papa Murphy's pizza, meatloaf, brats, mac & cheese and pineapple. Everything was really good! The cookbook that comes with it is good and you get 2 e-cookbooks when you register the grill with Traeger. The traeger website has a bunch of great recipes and you can download a Traeger App. Also there are Traeger grill/recipe groups on facebook you can join for more cooking ideas and advice. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Traeger Grills Are The Best! My husband and I purchased one of these grills and were quickly made to be the hit of the neighborhood! The aroma of the meat cooking is fabulous! We loved our grill. Unfortunately we moved to an apartment that would not allow personal grills. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering buying a grill. Absolutely the best, hands down!
