Toshiba 65" ClearScan 240Hz 1080P Cloud LED HDTV 5 5 2 2
When you decide to go big.... We decided to buy a larger TV for our living room. We'd been enjoying a 48" LG for 4 years, and simply decided we were ready for a bigger TV. I know from previewing more than a hundred TV's out in stores that Plasma is better than LCD. The problem is LCD is so much more affordable. For what amounts to a difference of at least a thousand bucks for the same size and features, I'll adjust the contrast and saturation to produce a more life like picture. One thing you have to get used to is how much less attractive TVHD looks on a screen this big. I may be mistaken, but I believe broadcast HD is 720dpi. That sounds like a lot until you see it on a screen this big. BlueRay looks fantastic, and 3D is cool. And HD doesn't look "bad".... it just loses something for sure on bigger screens. The one feature I thought was a little misleading is being able to turn normal 2D pictures into 3D. Well, maybe I watch the wrong stations and the wrong shows, but I have yet to find a single channel or show that the effect or change is noticeable. The smart features are very cool. The TV can read a flash drive, load and run an .avi or .mkv movie file and the picture runs better than it does streaming from my high powered laptop. There are a ton of services you can access from the access menu. You can connect a mouse to the TV, and it comes with it's own keyboard. In addition, you can set up the TV to access your home wifi network, and then allow all your devices that access the network to talk to the TV. So far we love it. It's huge, sounds double great through our Bose surround, and... did I mention it's huge? 01-13-14
E268622 Toshiba 65 Class ClearScan Cloud 3D +xtras Toshiba 65" Class ClearScan 240Hz 1080p Cloud 3D LED model comes with everything you need: Toshiba Cloud 3D HDTV, remote, 2 AAA batteries, two sets of active 3D glasses, wireless keyboard, 2 AA batteries, IR blaster cable, and guides. Easy set-up and received about 2 weeks earlier than expected. Enjoying everything the TV has to offer! Surprisingly, this smart TV offers better overall quality than our 70" Sony Bravia smart TV; shh, I didn't say that ha-ha... Priced about couple hundred less than most competitors and loaded with features, the keyboard is great to use for Web surfing. The only two features they could improve on is a higher contrast ratio, which is only 4000:1 and a quicker smart app system, there is some lag between switching apps, but our other TV's have longer lag times than this Toshiba. A Blu Ray is a must for movies and uses the Dynamic setting for full benefit, we also use for gaming and preset for game mode is great. For the price, it’s great for this size TV with 3D +features, and all the extra accessories (costly on their own)! Payment plan is a nice bonus, too! Thank Q & Toshiba! 12-14-13
