I was excited to get these cookbooks but was disappointed with the content. Should have just looked the recipes up online.

Had I realized that many of these recipes were regurgitated from previous books (one of which I own) I would not have ordered these. Not worth sending back. Why does QVC keep bringing these books back as "best sellers" when the reviews total 2 1/2 stars? Maybe because they're not worth the cost of sending them back.

I have everyone of Todd's books including the other hard covered ones he made for QVC. I cannot stress how much you should get this as a gift for yourself. Yes these are not new, it is a just a new collection of presentation. I have given so many as gifts it is crazy. I have made so many recipes that are beyond belief, Just this week I found in an old used store a hard cover book of his, another collection i had never seen, recipes I have already. I snatched it. Okay, my original soft covers are ripped, I have used so much. The chocolate chip cooks are only the best cookies ever (mrs. fields), the pumpkin cheesecake is the best cheesecake ever. The Starbucks lemon loaf, the best ever, much better than starbucks. This is a must as a gift or if you have all his books and want a clean collection.

Worst book ever. Don't both. No great or top secret recipes. Most are very simple sauces.
Rated 1 out of 5 by tigerlily726 Very old set of books from 2009 & 2010!!!
Very disappointed that QVC didn't let us know that the set of 2 cookbooks was printed in 2009 and 2010. Did they find these old cookbooks somewhere in the depths of a long ignored corner of a forgotten warehouse?! I would have been much happier knowing all the facts before ordering 2 sets of these 2 sets. Was going to gift my engaged daughter a set at her upcoming bridal shower. The other set was to be held in reserve for my newly engaged neice. I would have been very, very embarrassed if they would have discovered the true age of these old cookbooks. They probably would have thought that I had cheaped-out by going to a discount bookstore or even a yard sale. Please reveal all the facts during your alluring presentations. Omission is not the way to go. Please tighten up your standards. I have always trusted you in the past. And, postage to receive the cookbooks and then return postage for 4 heavy books does add up! Thank you!
