The Story Behind the Doll

"A doll collector sent me an antique doll that was in pieces from aging, but you could definitely see what a beautiful doll it once was, probably 100 years ago. I had to recreate this sweet doll and dress her like a little girl on a transatlantic voyage in the early 20th century. I think she turned out beautifully."

A beautiful replica of a time gone by, this Timeless Treasures doll is costumed in a cream-colored drop waist dress designed with soft, pastel blue satin detailing, fabric-covered buttons, and a pleated skirt. Her undergarments are period reproductions, and her outfit is finished off with light blue leatherette shoes and cream-colored leatherette laces. From Marie Osmond.

Had to send her back :o( After reading a review of this doll I checked the body . I noticed a scratch on her neck. The body is fair and I really love her outfit. I am glad I did not leave her all boxed up as I had planned. I love reproduction dolls but this one was not for me as I don't like a heavy body on a doll that is jointed. 04-20-12

Treasure is right! Love my Timeless Treasure. Such a beautiful face and hair. Her clothing is so cute. I love that the articulation in her limbs is so true to the period she's meant to represent. I feel almost as though I've gone back in time to a doll truly made many years ago. I'm not a collector of "antique reproductions" per se, but if they're all this lovely, I'll definitely be giving other reproduction dolls a chance. Marie, thanks so much for widening our horizons with these beautiful bru dolls. Please keep them coming! 04-02-12

Stunning collector doll, Nice quality... I used to be a huge doll collector, but have since scaled down my collection and have not bought one in quite a few years. i love Marie's dolls and the quality. I chose this doll because I am more a collector of antique dolls and love the Bru face. She is absolutely beautiful and love the quality of the doll and clothes. I also love the fact that she a limited production of a 150 which always makes the dolls more special. She is quite heavy because of her full articulated body. Her hair is gourgeous too and the color of her eyes are very unique. A very well made and represented reproduction. Good job Marie! I love her! 03-26-12
