The HurryCane Walking Cane with Extra Feet and HurryHandle
I used this cane post op on a total knee replacement and it is wonderful. Folds up and fits in my purse or beside me in a restaurant booth. The tripod foot is more stable that a traditional cane. Easy to set height. My physical therapists were thrilled to see how well I did with this cane. Makes having the other knee replaced bearable!
My 6 ft tall Dad Loves it!
I got this as a gift for my 88 year old Dad,he thinks it's the "niftiest" cane he's ever used! I read previous reviews about it being too tall for some people and sent it to him because of his height. He says it's perfect for him!
I feel comfortable with this cane
I like the fact that when I'm shopping and have to go to the check out , it will stand alone. My other canes would fall down and I would have bend down to get it. It is alittle heavier then I would like it. I like the fact that it folds easy and stores easy.
NOT what it's cracked up to be.....
I saw the infomercials for this item for months and waited until QVC offered it, since the return factor is important to me. This cane is a gimmick to catch attention......it is not as sturdy as it should be, and I tripped several times while using it on flat surfaces. I have been using canes for 25 years due to injuries but this one went back to QVC in a hurry!
The cane is sturdy and I love the foam handle. I don't have a problem with rugs and wouldn't give it a low rating because it doesn't stand on rugs. It stands on floors just fine and the rare times that I need it to stand up, it does.
I only wish it was prettier. I had been using a pretty polka dot cane :) This one is fine, though.
I bought this for my mom for her 88th birthday. She really likes it. Easy to carry with her when she goes out.
I bought this cane because I tire when I have to walk long distances--airports, shopping centers, sight-seeing. When I don't need it, I can fold it up and put it in the travel pouch. I have minor balance problems when I get tired and this cane helps me stabilize myself
The wrist attachment helps me to remember it. I keep it in the car.
Good Quality Cane
This cane seems to be strong and it makes me feel secure when I am walking. It is heavier than my other canes, but it is not cumbersome.
I do like the tri-tips and the fact that it stands up on it's own. I even have had positive results when I try to raise it, with my foot, after it has dropped.
Will not stand on carpet or any areas other than floors, tile etc. tried it in my sunroom which has flat outdoor carpet, "will not stand" and if I can find a spot were it does, it will fall with just someone walking near it !!!
I have a four footed cane that works much better for in home use, this works good for shopping in store where there is NO carpet etc. parking lots with NO stones or gravel etc.
I had high hopes for this cane, as the quad cane I have been using goes through rubber feet like water through a sieve. Since this cane has solid rubber feet, I hoped it could replace my quad cane. It doesn't. It does not stand up on it's own, the tiniest roughness in the ground, a mere whisper of wind, or a bare brush of a touch sends it crashing over on the ground, and it doesn't pop up again easily, either. For indoor walking on smooth floors, or on sidewalks, it's great, and the slight flex and give acts as a shock absorber on my wrist, but at a park or gravel parking lot or driveway, it's no better than an average, single foot old fashioned cane. For Fall walks in the woods to see the leaves as they change color, I'll stick with my quad cane, thanks.
This cane did not stand upright unless it was on inside hard or tile floor, it did not work on carpet either.. I needed it to work everywhere and it did not. Would not recommend this at all.
Ordered after having knee surgery, sadly not good for me. Did not give me the sturdy feel of my present solid cane. Size was good just didn't feel safe walking with it.
