I saw this set in a friend house and I loved it. The sad part of all of it is that I introduced me friend to temp-taions and now I can not order one because QVC only got it in black. I loved all my temp-tations set.

really is microwaveable!!
I love this! no more heating water and heating pot. Just fill microwave put in tea steep then drjnk!! wonderfull!! I made mug cake in the cups in the microwave and no worries! came out great!

VERY PRETTY and NICE SIZES!!
I just love this set!! so pretty and the size of the tea pot and mugs are great!! my only problem is my bowl arrived broken but temptations customer service is sending a replacement. Very happy at how nice and helpful the representative was.

Disappointed
I decided to order this set among others this weekend. I received this set along with another today and to my surprise I had damaged goods! The 8" bowl/plate holder was broken to pieces and one of my plates didn't have a seal on the bottom. I am so disappointed by this as they are my first temptation purchases. I'm sending them back tomorrow and hope to have them replaced. If not, I will return the others and discontinue purchasing tempation products altogether and possibly stop purchasing products from QVC. Quality is a major concern for me at this time.

COULD NOT BE MORE IN LOVE!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my hostess set! I purchased it in the Old World Confetti & was so stunned by it's beauty when I opened the box. I was so overjoyed by it and how well it was made. It is so gorgeous I have it as the center piece on my dinning room table!!

Very disappointed
I just received this set in Blue. Upon opening the package I could see the color does not match any of my other pieces of Temptations, and I have many.
Plus the top to the teapot does not fit...the top of the teapot is mis-shapen. I will not be ordering a replacement set since the color is so off . I do not want to take a chance on having to return it a second time.

Great set
So happy to receive this set today. Mine arrived with no problems. So sorry to hear about others having breakage issues. The pieces have a scroll/rope edge, very pretty. I didn't notice that in the pictures. The plates are very small though. Maybe large enough for a brownie or small piece of cake. The tea pot is a great size. Can't wait to use this set. I disagree that the handles on the mugs are awkward. I had no trouble holding one.

Just Desserts Set
Unlike some of the other customers,my set arrived in perfect condition. I wasn't sure how it was supposed to be stored so watched the video and now understand the reason for the holes in the sides of the bowl. This is my fourth Temptations Old World purchase in black. I'm definitely hooked. My fifth purchase of the oil/vinegar/salt/pepper set just arrived also in perfect condition.

really nice set
Got this in OW blue... it is so pretty and larger than what you expect. The handles are a little close and kinda weird, but have to be that way in order to slide into the base. My base was not broken and although the dessert plates are the size of a saucer, they are a shallow "bowl" as well, so it would work for cobbler and a scoop of ice cream. And really, it is a traditional SERVING size, not the mega super-size servings we have become used to here in the US.
Had wondered about how others do their tea, and am glad to know I can just put water in this and heat in the microwave, throw in tea bags and steep for a pot of tea, or bags could be put into the mugs and the hot water poured from the teapot over individually. Makes me want to bake something so I can play hostess!! ;)

Temptations Dessert Set
Unfortunately, mine came with a broken bowl as well. Out of the many, many sets of Temp-Tations I've purchased, and yes I mean many, this is the only one that has been a disappointment. The mugs have a really awkward handle on them. The dessert plates are the size of saucers and the bowl was broken. Very sad. I kept it instead of returning it because I don't need the hassle.
