Rated 5 out of 5 by from My lovely new baker I was so in awe at the vibrant colors and the beauty of this baking dish! It even has a measure to calibrate how much pasta to use for each serving--a real convenience I did not know it had! Love the workmanship of the design on the outside as well as the top. I have since ordered the large pasta bowl/salad bowl and an still in love with Old World items! Sure brightens my table and many of my friends have asked me where I purchased such a beautiful baking dish--of course I replied--QVC

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice size, like the handles! I received this a week ago and got around to using it last night. Held 2 pounds of meatloaf just fine. My son said it was the best meatloaf that had come out of my kitchen--not too dry and nicely flavored. I like the tray that raises the meat out of the fat. Cleaned up easily. That being said, it would make enough for a family of four, or a large loaf of tea bread. I like to make a meal that lasts for two meals--there is usually just my husband and I-, and this will do that. I got Confetti, as I have a lot of Floral Lace in eggplant, and when I placed my order, after thinking about it for awhile, there was no Floral Lace left, and only a few of the OW. Compliments my eggplant nicely. I like the complementing colors and designs, I do not feel a need to have all the pieces match. Kind of like a bouquet of spring flowers. I have some OW blue from her first offering 15 or so years ago that I still use at least weekly, as well as a Spring baking dish and Springfetti bowls. I see that the colors are all back in stock. I am quite pleased with the painting, it is nicely done. There are always a few inconsistencies, lighter or darker areas, but this is hand painted so I don't mind. The handles on the side are different, but those and the lid handle are a nice size, big enough to get a good grip while using pot holders. Have not cooked spaghetti with it. There was no recipe, and I don't know how to do that in the micro. I would like to give it a whirl. But this will find a lot of use. I have a nice yeast pullman sandwich bread recipe as well as quick bread recipe or two to try as the season progresses. Well done, Tara. I look forward to the rest of the seasonal offerings. Happy Holidays everyone!
